My mom makes something like this but it also has swiss cheese and sour cream! It tastes fabulous and we all love it. My mom also adds extra stuffing on top.

not stupid questions at all!
1. no, the stuffing does not need to be cooked. the parts that are facing the chicken get all nice and soft, and the outside gets crispy...it's very delish!
2. I hate it when I don't put down how long things take!!! ack! I would check them after 20 minutes, cause you don't want to over cook and dry them out...sorry I don't have more specific info, and let us know how long yours end up taking! :)

Just found your site and I LOVE it! There are some nights that I'm overwhelmed with what to make for dinner and this site is going to be a great tool for me. I'm planning on making the stuffing-coated chicken tonight with boneless breasts and I have 2 questions (forgive me if these are stupid) 1. Should the stuffing already be cooked? And 2. How long does it usually take to bake 4 boneless chicken breasts with this recipe? Thanks!!

I made this tonight - it was really yummy! My husband loved it, and my 4 y/o daughter - who has never had stuffing - gobbled it up!
I only used 1/2 the can of soup to coat the chicken so my husband made the other half of the soup to pour over his stuffing coated chicken after it had cooked.
Thanks for the super easy recipe!!
