GRILLED FRIES
From Emily Wignall who got it from the Dastrups
Just cut your raw potatoes into fries. Coat them in olive oil, and sprinkle generously with salt, add any other seasonings you like. BBQ on medium-high heat for about 10-15 minutes. Flip fries about half-way through.

Hello! My name is Jane Maynard and you've landed yourself on my blog, This Week for Dinner™. Every Sunday I share a weekly menu...and then count on you to share your own! You'll also find other deliciousness that I hope you'll enjoy!

How does one keep the julienned potatoes from falling between the grates? Should they be cooked in a pan on the grill? Thanks!

so, my friend and I always cut the potatoes more into chip-shaped pieces – wide and flat. if you want the julienned shape, I would try using a veggie grill pan, that might work nicely…but I’ve never done that myself
I think the key is getting them exposed directly to the heat somehow. good luck and let me know if you have more questions – or if you try it!
