		<description>so, my friend and I always cut the potatoes more into chip-shaped pieces - wide and flat. if you want the julienned shape, I would try using a veggie grill pan, that might work nicely...but I&#039;ve never done that myself :) I think the key is getting them exposed directly to the heat somehow.  good luck and let me know if you have more questions - or if you try it! :)</description>
