Pot Roast

Pot Roast

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
  • 1 chuck or round roast (2-3 pounds for 4-6 people)
  • Olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 can beef consumme
  • 1 can water
Instructions
  1. Salt and pepper the roast. Brown over medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side on the stovetop.
  2. Add roast along with the beef consumme and water to a crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. Use fluid in crockpot to make gravy.
