Week 35 Menu

Last week we had chicken casserole…which tasted awesome. I don’t make it often (I think the cream cheese, sour cream and cheese all added in makes me feel a LITTLE guilty), but it was a good autumn, comfort food. Once in a while you just gotta go back to Grandma’s cooking, no matter the ingredients! :)

The menu participation has been great since school started…I think we’re all back in our routines. Keep ‘em coming!

MONDAY:
- Pork Chops
- Wild & Long Grain Rice
- Veggie

TUESDAY:
- My Birthday! I’m going to let Nate plan this night… :)

WEDNESDAY:
- Chicken & Broccoli Penne
- Yummy bread
- Salad

THURSDAY:
- Book Club at my place…I still need to plan the menu - I will share once it’s all set!

FRIDAY:
- Orange Chicken
- Rice
- Veggie or Salad

SATURDAY:
- Leftovers

SUNDAY:
- Meatloaf (I’ll choose from one of your many wonderful recipes!)
- Mashed potatoes

  15. Jane, do you have a recipe for Wild and Long Grain Rice or do you just use a boxed version. I’ve been looking for more side dish recipes. Thanks!

    Comment by Adri — September 26, 2007 @ 8:15 pm

  16. I am a total cheater and used boxed versions. :) Does anyone else out there have a recipe for it? I would love to have one as I’m sure it would have far less sodium in it…
