I know that whenever I show open support for a sports team on the blog I risk alienating a few readers (case in point, my own dad, who is a yankees fan for some sad reason)…and I especially take that risk today, seeing as how I’m in San Diego and may be attacked…but I gotta say it…
I do feel bad for my San Diego friends out there – REALLY! But not that bad, I suppose. It’s what we Patriots gotta do to reach PERFECTION. Seriously, a 19-0 season?!?! (And you all know it’s gonna happen.) Can New England sports get any better? Besides breaking the curse, of course.
For all the non-sports readers out there, I’m done. Well, until the Superbowl in 2 weeks!

Hello! My name is Jane Maynard and you've landed yourself on my blog, This Week for Dinner™. Every Sunday I share a weekly menu...and then count on you to share your own! You'll also find other deliciousness that I hope you'll enjoy!

Oh Jane…are you serious? Oh no… this could really affect our friendship!
I’m not a fan of either team, but I still love football!

I’m with you babe. Hey I though bill from white plains was a pats fan? Did he hop onto the giants bandwagon?

This could be the Giants finest moment…you are aware of this, yes?
Comment by Stella — January 24, 2008 @ 10:46 pm
hey, ndm! you caught me at a weak moment. i was admiring your coach and qb. giant fans always complain and covet. it’s the nature of the beast. by the way you spell “thought” with a “t.”

We’ve got your back here on the Hill! Go Pats! I can hardly wait for the game to start. And, yes I am one of those folks from Mass. I am as old as the Patriots and have been a fan almost as long! And you should meet my Mother! She has to be one of the Pats #1 fans. She started going to the games at Fenway Park on Friday nights back in 1960! So to all you Giants fans out there – best of luck – we’re on the way to perfection! Sorry NJ!
