I went to a baby shower brunch yesterday. The food was so good, including these amazing chocolate cookies…I’ll get the recipe for sure!

On to the menu! It’s kind of a combo of the last two weeks’ menus…stuff that I didn’t end up cooking.

With all the soup posts, I have been inspired to make a pot of Chicken noodle soup for the upcoming week.

T: Chicken Noodle soup w/sweet rolls
W: Pot Roast, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli
T: Chicken & Broccoli quiche, salad

S: Oktoberfest!

-Quiche Lorraine (I have bacon and green onion that need to be used up) and this salad, but without the tortellini
-Super Easy Chicken Parmesan with Pasta and Veggies
-Butternut Squash Soup and Homemade Bread (focaccia, maybe?)
-and of course leftovers!
I still have not tried making pumpkin pancakes. I really need to do that sometime!

This is the first tiem I’ve posted! The baby is finally eating whatever we’re eating (and lots of it!). So, variety and kid-friendly items are a must!

W – Cream of mushroom soup (had to try the recipe!!) with leftover cornbread…the baby’s birthday!

We are remodeling our basement so this week has to be easy.

Thurs: Black bean enchilada casserole

Wednesday – Brunswick stew (using left over pork, adding chicken)

Friday – Ranch chicken, creamed potatoes and corn on the cob
Saturday – Halloween party (taking a dessert)
Sunday – Leftovers or Vegetable Soup with grilled cheese
Monday- Spaghetti Pie
Tuesday- Beef Burritos
Wednesday- Club Sandwich Paninis
Thursday- Easy Potato Cheese Soup w/ Broccoli
Friday- Dinner on the road- we’re headed to Philadelphia for the weekend!

Halfway through this pregnancy and MAYBE my taste buds are finally returning. We’ll see after this week, I guess!

Tues: pecan and feta salad from the Picky Cook, by way of Katie’s post this week
Wed: enchilada soup
Thurs: Your Asian spinach salad
Fri: possibly Tyler Florence’s Mexican pot roast so we can eat it all weekend.

Monday: wild Coho Salmon pan seared with a splash of mystery Japanese sauce (bought at the Japanese supermarket with Japanese only label)
Tuesday: Dinner with husband’s boss. Kids are having panko crusted chicken tenders with sitter
Wednesday: Roast chicken with shallot butter, cranberry sauce, and chicken liver stuffing
Thursday: Skirt Steak and beet blue cheese salad
Friday:Butternut Squash Soup and ordering in pizza
I only plan the weeknights…
