Week 146 Menu

This is what I’m craving today. Too bad I have to fly on a plane 6 hours to get it.

Another week, another menu! Where does the time go? I actually followed my entire menu last week, so no carry-overs. Thankfully I can just steal your ideas from last week!

MONDAY:
- Ravioli

TUESDAY:
- Chicken and avocado paninis

WEDNESDAY:
- Enchiladas

THURSDAY:
- Leftovers

FRIDAY:
- Gobi Matar Sabzi

SATURDAY:
- Eat out

SUNDAY:
- Grilled sausage, pepper & onion subs

    Wednesday: Nut and oat pancakes
    Thursday: Grilled polska kielbasa kabobs w/veg
    Friday: Spaghetti and meatballs
    Saturday: Chili cook-off with friends

  2. Cannoli’s one of my favorite desserts! Chocolate covered looks decadent.
    S: Chicken cannelloni with parmesan cream sauce, salad
    M: Roasted boneless turkey breast, gravy, mashed potaoes, rosted butternut squash, cranberry sauce

    W – S: Moving into new house, not sure what the rest of the week will bring.

  4. @Denise – make sure to bring all the silverware. I know it sounds stupid, but when we moved this spring, we brought a few pots/pans and some staples (pasta, cereal, etc). The first morning we realized all the spoons were with the moving company – we had forks and knives, but they weren’t that useful.

  6. Mmm. I want to try a cannoli – the only chance I had I was not eating sugar at the time. Yeah, like I’d do that again!

  8. Sunday- Spinach & Bacon Quiche w/ tomatoes and cucumbers
    Monday- Easy Crock-pot Chicken served over rice w/ spinach salad
    Tuesday- Spaghetti w/ meat sauce, salad, garlic bread
    Wednesday- eat at church!
    Thursday- Crock-pot Chicken Parmesan w/ spinach salad
    Friday- Little Ceasers $5 Pizza night (my night off)w/ spinach salad
    Saturday- eat out

  9. The hubster is at a conference this week, so I’m making a lot of quick, one person dinners.

    F – sag aloo and rice
    S – dijon chicken with rice and steamed veggies
    S – a big salad with chickpeas and artichoke hearts
    M – homefries and eggs
    T – bowl of rice noodles w/ shrimp
    W – mac & cheese w/ broccoli
    T – lentil soup w/ hot italian sausage

    Mon- Baked mac & cheese
    Tues- Shake n ‘bake parmesan chicken, rice & broccoli
    Weds- Subway
    Thurs – Spaghetti & meat sauce
    Friday – pizza
    Sat – Chicken fajitas, rice & broccoli

  12. -Lentils with Smoked Sausage (posting recipe tomorrow)
    -Some kind of meatballs, but not sure on flavor yet. Italian or Polynesian? With rice or pasta? We’ll see what everyone is in the mood for.
    -Indian Butter Chicken and Naan. If I don’t have time to make the Naan, we’ll just have steamed rice.
    -It wouldn’t be a week without leftovers!
    -Ham and Swiss Loaded Potatoes with a veggie, probably broccoli

    Th – Curry Udon(with the left over curry)
    Fri -Homemade pasta(there has been a request to make it blue…any natural non-gross ways to do that?)

  15. Can’t do this coming week’s menu, but here was what we ate off our month’s menu last week:

    Sunday: Chicken Picatta

    Monday: Chicken Tacos

    Tuesday: Red Beans & Rice

    Wednesday: Chicken Fajitas

    Thursday: Yo-Yo (yo each on yo’ own – I had left over butternut squash soup.

    Friday: Homemade Pizza

    Saturday: Morrocan Lemon Chicken

    Today: Chili Rellenos w/ Mexican Rice

    Tomorrow night is baked fish (either Halibut or Mahi Mahi) with either Brussels Sprouts or Cauliflower.

  22. Okay… been loafing the menu planning here lately… well, the last 2.5 months since baby 3 was born!

    * L- Oven-fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Fries & baby spinach salad D-Beef Stroganoff, grapes, cooked peas n’ carrots
    * L- PB&J, mini carrot sticks, fresh sweet peas D- Baked Potatoes w/ boiled eggs, cheese & bacon
    * Tunafish/Egg salad Sandwiches, chips and carrot sicks D-Rotini w/ Marinara sauce
    * Stirfry – noodle variety maybe w/ chicken. D- Baked Beans and Cornbread, fresh salad.
    * Cornbread & Baked beans leftovers D – Breakfast for Dinner
    * L- Quesadillas, fresh fruit and veggies D – Chicken Enchiladas, salad, jello
    * L – Turkey Sandwiches, chips, jello D- Baked Potato Soup w/ bacon crumbles, toast, Salad

  24. M — Big baked potatoes with broccoli-cheese sauce
    T — Roast beef in the crockpot with carrots and potatoes
    W — Scallops and linguini and sauteed Swiss chard (DH cooked. Kids did not appreciate this meal, but I did!)
    TH — To friend’s house. She made a Mediterranean dish with beef, tomatoes, and olives in the crockpot, which we ate over brown rice and topped with feta.
    F — Tropical Chicken ribbons on the grill (Thanks to Daylight Savings Time, DH was grilling at dark with a floodlight!)

  25. WOW that Cannoli looks AMAZING! I’ve never had one, but next time I visit my friend in NYC I’m definately trying one. here is my menu:

    Sunday – apple cider porkchops with cole slaw
    Monday – Costco run (eating at their food court, I know fancy)
    Tuesday – Orange chicken with rice
    Wednesday – out with friends
    Thursday – baked cavatelli (recipe found here: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/pasta/baked-cavatelli/)
    Friday – leftovers
    Saturday – date night (I hope)

  35. Surprisingly, Logan Utah has a pretty good bakery on Main. I don’t have a planned menu for the week but I do have a planned date with a Cannoli in an hour

    Monday – White chicken chili, green salad
    Tuesday – Leftovers
    Wednesday – roasted turkey breast, baked sweet and white potatoes, bok choy

    Friday – date night – pasta for the kid
    Saturday – poached salmon and vegetable sides

  37. Yesterday: Making double batch of tortilla soup (1/2 for Fri, 1/2 to B&Carrie); Going out to eat!!!!
    Fri: Lunch: lentils with coconut cream, Dinner: tortilla soup
    Sat: Lunch and/or dinner: black bean soup with cumin and jalapeno (double batch, freezing half)
    Sun: Low fat pasta primavera
    Mon: leftovers/easy stuff

    Thurs: Pasta and Sauce/leftovers/clean out fridge
    Fri: ” ” Make cranberry walnut bread for Holbrook Browns (freeze it)
