‘The Pioneer Woman Cooks’ Cookbook Giveaway! (5 of you will win!)

I hope you won’t be upset with me, but I’ve got another giveaway for you. I know, have I just stopped cooking and gone full-time pursuing cookbook giveaways for you guys? Nope, I haven’t. But the holidays are coming and these giveaways ROCK and I just want to get them out to you before life gets too crazy! I promise to serve up some food later this week…until then…let’s talk about The Pioneer Woman, shall we?

If you have not yet discovered The Pioneer Woman (also known as Ree Drummond), please give yourself a little time and explore her website. It’s a whole lot of fun…great info, great photography, great food, great humor. I’ve had the opportunity to meet her a few times and I just love her to pieces! (Oh, and did I mention I made it onto her blog once? Woo-hoo!)

Enough gushing. Ree just published her first cookbook. And it’s just what you think it’s going to be – full of great recipes, step-by-step photos and a lot of life from the ranch. Oh, and it’s already on the New York Times bestseller list.

  540. I am a barely mediocre cook, my children are grown, I am a lousy photographer and my dream is to live in Europe. And yet…

    I am so hooked on The Pioneer Woman website.

    I read the posts about homeschooling – although that’s maybe not so wacky because I do have grandchildren, after all, who may benefit from those bookmarked posts eventually.

    I skim through some of the posts on photography, although I have no urge to own a copy of Photoshop. Ever. But mostly I look at the gorgeous photos.

    Well, maybe that’s not too wacky either. I mean, those photos are awesome.

    I believe that cookbook may be my salvation. The recipes on the website usually have me yearning to make enough of an effort to get close to the results shown in beautiful living color.

    But it’s those tidbits on ranch life. And how the former city girl copes with it that I am so in love with.

    It’s no surprise that Ree got best blogger this year. She is so open and honest about her life and it’s touching, as well as entertaining.

    But, seriously, that cookbook may be my salvation.

  541. My daughter has been raving about your web site for months and this past weekend for my 39th wedding anniversary I tried the bacon-cheese muffins. They were a big hit with not only my daughter and son-in-law, but also my son and daughter-in-law, all asking where the recipe came from. My daughter was thrilled I finally followed through to try out your site. I think your recipe will cause my daughter-in-law to go to your site and see what there is to see.

  549. I make the Beautiful Bread by Pastor Ryan and I love it, and so do my guests-I’ve made it numerous times. I have people over a lot and your cooking posts (along w/your other stuff) inspire me! I love inspiration…it gets me off my big comfy leather chair next to my glowing computer and living life. I imagine your cookbook would be equally stimulating. Now, I have to go to bed (which I hate to do) but it is 1AM.
