We do a fresh cranberry relish with 1 pkg cranberries chopped in the food processor, 1 whole orange chopped in the food processor, then mix it with 1 cup sugar. Chill and enjoy. It's a fabulously refreshing addition to Thanksgiving and all the RICH foods!

You can also add a little chopped onion and ginger to your sauce. Saute them first and then add your other ingredients. The ginger is really awesome in it.

Cranberries are one of my favorite parts of fall. Last year I discovered a cranberry cheesecake that is to die for (it's our new favorite - my husband requested it in lieu of birthday cake this year). I'll have to send the recipe your way. Happy Thanksgiving!

We made our cranberry sauce on Monday. It is so good with a little bit of orange in it! Your pictures are beautiful. I know I always say that to you, but they are :).
