Now, for the moment of truth…random.org selected CheekyChic as our winner! Here’s what she told us: “I’ve been meal planning since I got married to my sweet husband Shawn. The only flaw, which I didn’t know was a flaw until reading your post, was I was writing my meal plans on ripped out notebook paper. Wouldn’t your giveaway be perfect for me? Thanks!”

Now you can plan the RIGHT way, CheekyChic. ;)

Thanks to everyone who entered and happy meal planning!

OK, this may sound like a dumb question but how do you meal planners handle the “I really don’t feel like eating ___________” that you had planned to cook that day ? My husband and I get into that all the time and then around 7:30 resort to going and getting fast food or scrounging for something in our freezer. Do you just make it a mindset thing that that’s what you’re having and don’t even consider anything else or what ? Any help/suggestions on overcoming this problem would be greatly appreciated. TIA

not a dumb question! honestly, I don’t always cook a meal on the day I have it planned – things get moved around within the week. but my grocery shopping is so tied to my plan that a) I only really have ingredients for what I planned, and b) I feel too guilty not using the food. so, yeah, I guess I just say to myself “too bad” if I’m not really feeling something that I’ve got on the menu.

that said…we’ve had our nights for sure where we end up ordering out because it just sounds so much tastier! but I try not to do that too often. :)

I don’t feel like I have any specific tips…I do think it is just a mindset thing. hope that helps! :)
