When I was making our peanut butter playdough this week and happily using my Adjust-A-Cup, I realized I’ve never written about it. So here we are. I love it. Especially for sticky things that are so hard to get out of a regular measuring cup, like PEANUT BUTTER. It works like a charm.

I know the Adjust-A-Cup is nothing new, but it took me years to finally get one, so I’m excited about it just the same. And if you haven’t gotten one yet, hop to it! (I like the 2-cup version, but they have a 1-cup and a mini as well.)
Happy Measuring!

I really want one of these – especially for shortening!

Used mine last night for peanut butter! Works great for all those gooey things like peanut butter, shortening, and things like mayo! I also glance at mine occassionally for conversions since it lists oz., ml., tablespoons, teaspoons and cups on it.

I need this! I’ve never seen one.

Thanks for reminding me I have one of those! I subconsciously think it’s only for shortening, which I never use anymore- totally wrong. I’ll have to pull it out the next time I bake with peanut butter!

I don’t use one of these, but I do have a good tip for those without one:
Use a little sandwich bag or square of cellophane wrap over your measuring cup and you can plop out the pb or crisco w/out any mess. When done measuring just throw it away and put your measuring cup back in the drawer!

I got one of these years ago when at a Pampered Chef party. I have used it constantly. I use it for sour cream, mayo, yogurt, applesauce, and of course P.B. Nice tip, Jane.

The Adjust-a-Cup does rule. I also got a set of OXO angled measuring cups for Christmas and ADORE them. They’re so easy to see and read. http://www.surlatable.com/product/id/126610.do

My mom used to have one of those and I’ve been looking for one (not terribly hard, just glancing when I’m in the store). I’ll have to get one!

that was exactly like me and why it took so long to get it – I knew I wanted it and would sort of keep an eye out, but never found one in a store. I just ended up ordering mine online

My mother-in-law got me one and I only use it for liquid (it has a liquid side and a solids side). I’ll have to try it for peanut butter.
