I can’t believe Christmas is over. Which means we can dig in and eat the decorations on our gingerbread house! (And before you start thinking I’m some amazing confectioner creating little people out of sugar, we just used a cute little kit from Trader Joe’s )
The girls are still playing non-stop with their new toys, completely uninterested in food. I’m still in vacation mode. Meal planning is about the last thing I feel like doing right now…but we’ve gotta eat!
- Spaghetti (I know, I know…soooo fancy)
- New Year’s Eve! 7-Layer Dip, Artichoke Dip, Chicken Tenders, Oriental Chicken Salad are first to come to mind.
- Some sort of yummy treat. Maybe as simple as chocolate chip cookies, it’s been a while since I whipped up a batch!
- Leftovers and/or waffles
Please share your menu for the week! I know lots of us are in vacation mode…so if we don’t get a lot of menus up here this week, I’ll forgive you. But you better believe next week I’m going to be all over your case…it IS the New Year after all, a time to whip ourselves into shape…meal planning is a good place to start!
