Hello everyone! Well, it’s Thanksgiving week…definitely my favorite time for food all year! If you haven’t already, please click here to post your Thanksgiving feast menu! (That’s right, I’m expecting two meal plans out of you this week…no rest for the weary, folks!)

This past week we ended up having a bunch of surprise meals brought to us by friends. I can’t even tell you how amazing our friends and family have been helping us out over the last 8 weeks as I’ve recovered from my c-section. We are truly blessed and have much to be thankful for!
MONDAY:
- Leftovers (chicken chipotle soup and chili from friends)

- Lasagna (out of the freezer)

- Eat out (I’ll be busy prepping food for Thursday!)

vodka creme pasta with chicken and brocoli
sloppy joes with french fries.
crockpot cheeseburger dinner (from an old commentor a few weeks ago)
meatloaf, twice baked potatoes, and green beans.
pulled pork sandwiches with corn (that’s a birthday request).
chicken parmesan over spaghetti noodles, and green peas.
basil and garlic chicken with rice pilaf and green beans.

Oh my gosh!!! Can it really be Thanksgiving already?! Bring on the turkey and the football! This is my favorite holiday!
Sunday: Pork Tenderloin with Apple-Ginger Pan Sauce (didn’t get to it during the week)
Monday: Sausage and roasted, parmesan broccoli from CSA basket
Tuesday: Roasted Potato & Squash soup from freezer with crusty bread
Wednesday: I’m working, but will already have a house full of people, so I’m sure someone will think of something!
Thursday: Turkey, turkey, turkey!!!…with cranberries, potatoes, pumpkins and the usual cast of characters
Friday: Leftovers with cauliflower sformato (Bitten Word) from CSA basket

Goulash is great with venison, as are taquitos!
I like to use vension in place of beef in stuffed peppers and in lasagna. I’ve used it as taco meat too.

So true for like 3 days after Thanksgiving we’re basically eating leftovers but all the good stuff is usually devoured the first 2 days.
ha ha! yes, the good stuff normally does go fast!
