Week 369 Menu

Wow, it’s Sunday already! Yesterday our family was completely lazy. I don’t think we’ve ever had a day like it! The kids thought it was pretty hilarious and it was actually kind of fun. But now it’s back to real life, starting with this week’s menu plan!

weekly dinner menu plan from @janemaynard, including printable menu and shopping list!

The ingredients list for this week’s menu was a lot shorter than past weeks’. Lots of basic ingredients and repeats from meal to meal, which is interesting because the meals are all so different. I love shorter grocery lists!

MONDAY:
– Salmon – recipe TBD!
– Rice and salad

TUESDAY:
–  Swedish Pancakes (Cate’s favorite!)

WEDNESDAY:
– Easy Apricot Chicken
– Rice and veggie

THURSDAY:
– Leftovers

FRIDAY:
– Beef Stroganoff
– Veggie and egg noodles

SATURDAY:
– Eat out

SUNDAY:
Stuffed Shells
Garlic knots and salad

Click here for the free printable of this week’s menu plus the shopping list!

You know the drill! I want to read all your menus! Please share, they really are such a wonderful help as we all plan each week!

  20. There are several new recipes on my plan this week, the results of being almost done eating the meat from our freezer. This challenge has been good (new recipes) for the most part. It has made me realize just how unplanned my past shopping trips have been, how I have been going into them without a good plan. After a couple months of different things causing havoc to our schedule, I’m ready to get back to it and this was the first step.

    Lunch:
    1. Eat Out
    2. Chipotle-Chocolate Chili, Grandma’s Buttermilk Cornbread Muffins
    3. Salad
    4. *Cajun Pulled Pork, rice, side salad
    5. *Chipotle Pork
    6. *Pork Chops with Caribbean Rub and Mango Salsa
    7. *Potato Pancakes with Corn Chili

    Supper:
    1. Tomato soup, garlic bread
    2. Breakfast – grits, onion and pepper omelette, juice
    3. Superfast Salisbury Steak
    4. Roast in gravy (from freezer)
    5. Falafel
    6. Salad
    7. Leftovers

Thu – Cauliflower / Potato Chowder in Crockpot
Fri – Paleosanga (basically a lasagna w zuchinni rounds instead of noodles ? but still has cheese ?)
Sat – not sure yet maybe out

    • paleosanga sounds interesting!

    • tara

It was interesting. basically you used zuchinni rounds instead of noodles. and instead of ricotta mixture you use greek yogurt and shredded cheese and BROCCOLI believe it or not. the biggest thing i would change is that it basically just had you pour diced tomatoes on it instead of spaghetti sauce…i would have prefered to use spaghetti sauce to get more of the basil, spices taste. i would make it again though ! Here’s the link
      http://www.whatrunslori.com/2011/12/paleasagna/
i didnt have shredded goat cheese so i used provolone :). i also almost doubled the amount of veggies so i would get a lot of leftovers. in general i liked it. it was a tiny bit watery though but like i said…i would make it again with some tweeks.

  23. I just blogged mine, with links to recipes, for the next two weeks. Glad i found your blog! http://sexandtheknitty.blogspot.com/2014/02/meal-plan-monday-2-in-1.html
