Week 436 Menu

Hey everybody! We just got back from a hike with our kids and I’m finally sitting down to do some planning. I did cook last week, but not really anything from the menu. I think I was just trying to use up foods we already had. So, I have a few repeats from last week’s menu, sorry about that! That’s life!

TUESDAY:
Caprese Paninis

WEDNESDAY:
Chili

THURSDAY:
– Food truck night at the kids’ school!

FRIDAY:
– Leftovers

SATURDAY:
Curried Coconut Soup

SUNDAY:
– Chicken Vindaloo (nothing fancy, I just got a simmer sauce at Costco)
– Rice, Broccoli and Naan

    Monday – pork stir fry with rice, mushrooms and snap peas
    Tuesday – flank steak, roasted potatoes, asparagus
    Wednesday – riding lessons – fend for yourself
    Thursday – seafood linguine, salad, garlic bread
    Friday – grilled pizza, salad
    Saturday – take out

    Wednesday: leftovers
    Thursday: chicken stir fry
    Friday: transforming the pork leftovers into pork sandwiches… I think 🙂
    Saturday: out to eat
    Sunday: kale & sweet potato frittata

  3. My goal this week is to get to bed earlier, so I can wake up earlier and start the day off right with breakfast (of which I also plan out). I talk more about it on my blog, but the point is very similar to any other meal – knowing what you are going to make and taking the time to ACTUALLY do it. 🙂

    I love that you have “Food Truck Night”. That is so not an option where we live, unless it is Saturday morning and you go to Big Town for something.

    Lunch:

    3. Spaghetti with meat sauce
    4. Salad
    5. Chinese Style BBQ Pork, rice, veggies
    6. Pizza

  4. We just got back from Spain last night. I’m (mostly) back on US time now. Luckily we don’t have to do any grocery shopping – thanks to the grandparents.

    Sunday: Pork tenderloin and cauliflower buffalo bites
    Monday: Cacio e pepe and Asian green beans
    Tuesday: Taco bake (with leftover pork tenderloin)
    Wednesday: Teriyaki meatballs and noodles
    Thursday: Homemade fish sticks
    Friday:Leftovers
    Saturday: Out

  9. Monday-Omelet Bar…fillings include bacon, mushrooms, onions, pepper jack or cheddar cheese, and bell peppers. Served with fresh fruit.

    Tuesday-Slow Cooker Steak Sandwiches, Chips, Fruit (Costco has organic sour cream and onion chips which makes my heart so very happy!)

    Wednesday-BBQ Chicken Drumsticks, Rice, Broccoli

    Thursday-Spaghetti with Beef Sausage and Bell Peppers, Green Salad

    Friday-Homemade Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza

    Saturday-Leftovers

    Tue – portabella lasagnas & salad
    Wed – its our anniversary and supposed to be a beautiful day so we are going to have a dinner picnic in the park with wine (in water bottles since no booze in the park LOL), cheese, fruit, etc
    Thu – OUT for a work function
    Fri – maybe out maybe leftovers
    Sat – pork tenderloin and veggies

  14. I’ve been relying on a lot of old standbys lately… so this week, I’m trying quite a few new things…

    grilled cheese (because it can’t all be new stuff) 🙂
