Ahhhh, the Ferry Building

Is there a better way to spend a summer morning than at the San Francisco Ferry Building?

The place is simply bursting at the seams with beautiful things to see and delicious food to eat.

My sister has been visiting and today is her last day in town. We dropped the girls off at their summer camps this morning and headed straight to the city.

How about a little Ciao Bella gelato for breakfast? Don’t mind if I do.

And some Cowgirl Creamery mozzarella and burrata for lunch? Bring it on.

Don’t forget to grab some Cowgirl chocolate milk, made with super duper fancy chocolate and deliciously-fresh milk. Even if it does cause you to make funny faces in public.

I could live at the Ferry Building. I’d be broke. But I would be well-fed. That’s all that matters in the end, right?

The Ferry Building is one of my all time favorite places. It’s my happy place!! I miss it!! On Saturday mornings you should try the cart outside that has Huevos Rancheros with eggs – to die for! Or the little donut stand that sells Italian style custard filled donuts. AMAZING!! Or DELICA, a Japanese deli that has the most amazing wasabi mashed potatoes!!! Okay, I may need to make a trip up there myself 🙂

Shoot, not Huevos Rancheros, CHILAQUILES! I got too excited

Awwww, wish I was there right now! I’m always amazed to see locals drinking wine and eating charcuterie at 10:00 at the Wine Merchant. The Oxbow Market in Napa is a close second and a mini version of the Ferry Building. Beautiful photos!
