Apron Giveaway from Puking Pastilles

This giveaway is now closed. Thank you!

I have a fun giveaway for you today…this totally hip and adorable apron from Puking Pastilles, custom made to fit YOU! Seriously, how cool is this apron? I especially love how good it looks on my blog…too bad my blog doesn’t need an apron.

puking pastilles giveaway1 web

The winner’s apron will be made by Georgia, the talent behind the Puking Pastilles Etsy shop. I love supporting talented moms who start wonderful businesses…Georgia’s company is no exception. If you like to sew, check out their patterns (which are currently on sale…but not for long!). If you don’t sew, then hop on over and check out their “Learn to Sew” series on YouTube!

Lucky for you non-sewers out there, the giveaway involves no sewing whatsoever. The apron will arrive ready to throw on so you can cook in style!

puking pastilles giveaway2 web

To enter the giveaway, visit the Puking Pastilles Etsy shop, pick out your favorite sewing pattern and leave a comment on this post telling us which one it is! My favorite is definitely the reusable grocery bag – super cute and roomy. Please leave your comment before Midnight PT, Monday, March 1, 2010. (Prize can be shipped only to a U.S. address. Thank you!) The randomly-selected winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 2.

Good luck to everyone! And big thanks to Puking Pastilles for a perfectly lovely prize!

  23. 24

Without a doubt the carseat cover! When I had my daughter I wanted to be able to use the same car seat as we had with my son but it was so boyish. I searched high and lo for a cover and a pattern that I liked and could not find ANYTHING! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

  24. 25

  33. 34

What a great idea…. I LOVE the car cd holder, never thought about making one so cute instead of the ones they sell in the stores. I also LOVE the apron and I am in GREAT need of a new one (hint hint, wink wink)

  34. 35

The ankle biters are just the cutest thing, well, besides the apron that I would really love!!

  39. 40

I was just looking all over the internet yesterday for a great apron–I need one SO bad! Crossing my fingers…

  40. 41

It has to be the ankle biters. I love that the model is quite short for her age. I not sure my boys would care for them though.

  41. 42

Love the car seat cover. Looks like a serious project but it could be fun since I am having my 3 kid in may and it is the same car seat.

  42. 43

The reusable grocery bag is super cute but I think I fell in love with the CD holder as soon as I saw it! Mine is on it’s last leg and CDs keeps falling down, definitely time for a new one! Thanks for the opportunity 🙂

  44. 45

  45. 46

I love the superhero costumes! I can see myself wearing the apron and one of the capes while I get things done around the kitchen:)

  46. 47

  57. 59

  67. 69

I love the Memory Lane dress!

  68. 70

    I love the ankle biters!!

  69. 71

Oh I love them all! I think my boys would love the super hero cape/ costume the best, but I just love the idea of being able to make my own carseat cover. I hated that I couldnt find any that I liked when I had babies!

  70. 72

Such cute little baby things. Very hip! But since I’m past my baby having years, I have to say I love and would use daily the reusable shopping bag. I can never have enough. Ask me about when I ran short and almost had words with the cashier at Penney’s when she tried to insist I take a plastic bag!

The apron, well, it would be great to have. As I learn to cook, I am also learning I am very messy whilst doing so!

    Too fun!

  78. 80

I LOVE cute aprons. I have a thing for them. And I join the crowd with the cute, cute, reusable grocery bag as my favorite pattern.

  82. 84

I love the reusable grocery bag! The baby blocks are super cute too, and a great idea. 🙂

  83. 85

  109. 111

  112. 114

  120. 122

The infant carseat cover is awesome!! I should get it for my mom to make me.

  121. Hmmmmm….I love the reusable grocery bag, but the car visor CD holder is so visually stimulating that I can’t resist! I have a whole box of fat quarters that will work great for the pockets!

  122. 124

I really like the Memory Lane Sun Dress. I have three girls that would look adorable in one!

  123. 125

The principal use of Grandma’s apron was to protect the dress underneath because she only had a few. It was easier to wash aprons than dresses and they used less material, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven.

It was wonderful for drying children’s tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears. From the chicken coop, the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven…

  124. 126

oh and i forgot to post my favorite pattern!!! ANKLE BITERS!

  125. 127
    AM Denton

The ankle bitters are so cute!! I’m not an advanced seamstress but I think these little pants will be a good place to start!!!

    Jenny Worthington

My fingers are crossed so tight right now….I hope I win!!!

  133. 135

  134. Super cute reusable grocery bag! I bet it would also be a great library bag.

  135. 137

picketh me please…my daughter loves aprons

  136. 138

First off, I LOVE the name of her shop! It just makes me chuckle inside every time I hear it.

I could’ve used the carseat cover when Penelope was a bitty baby. Our carseat (and stroller) have the most hideous fabric ever. E-E-EW.

I’d love to win such a cool apron! I’m crossing my fingers!

  137. I’m definitely a fan of the Toddler booster car seat cover. I’d love to make a cuter one for the boys. Hoping the pre-birthday vibes help me win.

    Sabrina Lawrence

My favorite has got to be the super hero cape! I have to try this one.

  169. 171

What wonderful patterns! I love the infant seat and booster seat covers- such a great way to improve a seat, especially when the next kid comes and the old one isn’t as lovely as it used to be… however with MY sewing skills, I’d have to stick with the reusable grocery bag, since I could probably make it and I’d use it all the time.

  170. I need this apron! The reusable grocery tote is on my Etsy favorites.

  171. i LOOOVE the reusable grocery bag! And i am thinking our YW would love to make those too :o)

  172. 174

That gorgeous apron might actually inspire me to culinary greatness! And those patterns – I didn’t even know I could buy these kinds of things! Love love LOVE the baby blocks and the toddler car seat recovering! And the girl’s dress. And the ankle biter pants. Ok – I love it all. 🙂

  173. 175

I love the baby blocks. Sooooo cute and tons better than the boring, wooden “ABC” variety that too easily become weapons when the toddler gets mad or you have to walk across a messy room in the middle of the night.

  174. 176
    Brooke Todd

    I want that!!!!

  175. 177

  204. 207

I love entrepreneurs! I especially love the fact they are custom made to fit the individual. Us REAL cooks need aprons that will actually tie around us, not those dainty little string-like ropes that barely reach and you struggle to tie them in the front. Being a craft person myself, I love your work. Good luck!

  205. 208
    Lauren W
