    Snackpicks “Highlights of a Mom’s Life” Webisodes

    Remember how I’m one of the Snackpicks Moms for Kelloggs? Well, they have a fun, new web series  called Highlights of a Mom’s Life. The episodes are funny, tongue-in-cheek “snack stories” about Kate the mom, her football-loving husband Hal and their two children. The first episode just launched…check it out! There will be more episodes to come, in case you get hooked and just have to know what happens to Kate next. 😉

    guacamole smThe first episode features this cute recipe: Cheez-It Game Day Guacamole. I don’t like to encourage Nate’s sports habit, but I might just have to this idea is so cute…guacamole for the football field with piped sour cream for the yard lines and end zone. I love it! Maybe I’ll actually put a little effort into our Super Bowl party this year…maybe.

    Week 129 Menu…and Snackpicks

    I recently wrote some articles for Kellogg’s new and improved Snackpicks site…and the site launched this week! I’m one of the “Snackpicks Moms” and am even featured on the home page! So far I have two articles on there – tips for Sumer Party planning and Kid Birthdays.

    Time for this week’s menu!

    MONDAY:
    – Leftovers (we have quite the assortment of random leftovers right now!)

    TUESDAY:
    – Breakfast for dinner

    WEDNESDAY:
    – Chili

    THURSDAY:
    – Hot dogs/hamburgers/fruit

    FRIDAY:
    – Leftovers

    SATURDAY:
    – Eat out

    SUNDAY:
    – Grilled chicken breasts (either BBQ or honey mustard) with veggie and potato of some sort

    Please share your menus! Fancy or plain, I love reading them! Plus, I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off since the Swiffer SocialLuxe Lounge is literally right around the corner…so my menus are pretty boring and un-inspiring.  Please inspire each other!
