Happy Friday!
All of the kale talk this week inspired me to throw up a post on Huffington Post about kale chips. When I shared the link on my personal FB page, it generated quite the discussion. It was kind of awesome. Also, more people hate kale chips than love them, so that makes me feel sufficiently vindicated. One more also, a friend mentioned that Jim Gaffigan also has strong feelings about kale. Basically, all of this makes me happy.
Here are my posts on Cosmo this week:
- 15 Crazy Twists on Pretzels
- 17 Life-Changing Cooking Hacks (this post is pretty darn cool!)
- 12 Crazy Amazing Things to Do With Chocolate Chips
And a fun post on Babble that my girls helped me write!
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! And remember to share your own stuff, including your thoughts and feelings on kale chips! 😉
Kinda hate this kale trend. So glad you posted about it! Such a funny article! 🙂
Kale disgusts me. I’ll stick to spinach 🙂
This week, in honor of the upcoming Cinco de Mayo (San Diegans kind of lay claim to this holiday as our own :), I posted my top 34 Nacho Toppings…including my favorite ooey gooey spicy ballpark nacho cheese sauce. Mmmmmm.

I have a pretty good idea how well kale chips would go over at my house. Which is slightly funny, because my kids like to eat dried seaweed.
What did go over well were chocolate cupcakes with caramel frosting. That is fortunate because I made them 4 times until I was happy with the recipe!

you are a very dedicated recipe tester – and I want to be your kid! 😉
The one nice thing about kale chips is that they take up less room in the compost bin than raw kale.
hahahahahaha!!!!
Hahaha, I love that video, and your kale post was awesome too. “Because kale chips are gross.” Love the straightforward wrap-up. 🙂
Btw, not many people I know get to “throw up a post” for the Huffington Post. That’d be a dream! Congrats!
thanks, erica! 🙂
