Friday Show and Tell

Happy Friday!

favorite sandwich bread from @janemaynard - trader joe's half-baked panini rustic rolls

When I started this blog nearly 8 years ago, I was constantly sharing my favorite Trader Joe’s finds, much to the chagrin of those readers who didn’t have a Trader Joe’s near their home. I backed off a lot over the years, but I recently found an item that I am loving and have to tell you about. If you don’t have a TJs, my apologies. The Half-Baked Panini Rustic Rolls are AWESOME. We’ve used the rolls for pesto chicken salad sandwiches and for a variation on our caprese paninis. The bread is perfect for sandwiches, with a nice crisp exterior and chewy interior. The big bonus is that, magically, the sandwich fixings don’t squeeze out as you eat the sandwich. We LOVE this bread!

On to food links!

That’s all from me today…what do you have to share?

  1. We love those rolls too. Especially for BBQ sandwiches because they’re so hearty, but I love how chewy and soft they are!

My daughter and I just got back early Wednesday from New England and New York where my daughter was a flower girl, then we visited family, so we’re still jet lagging.

In honor of football season starting I posted 8 Gameday Menus On a Dime.

these are seriously my fav rolls! we use them for everything too!

  3. Ooh! I’ll have to try those. I’m obsessed with the par-baked Essential Baking Company breads that my Costco currently is carrying (both sourdough and rosemary). They make the best sourdough I’ve ever tasted. I need my sourdough to be SOUR, and it doesn’t disappoint.

  4. We lived on an island for 5 years with only two grocery stores and no TJs. I had to make my own raisin rosemary crisps!

We miss our small town island home, but it’s sure nice to be able to walk to TJs again!

  5. Fastidious respond in return of this query with genuine arguments and telling
    everything concerning that.

  6. WOW just what I was searching for. Came here by searching for see this

  7. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and amusing,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head.
The issue is something not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy that I came across this during my search for something
    regarding this.
