Friday Show and Tell

It’s Friday! Yay!

milk and berries from @janemaynard

I’m going to be super quick with my sharing today,Β just a couple Babble links!

You know the drill…show and tell means everyone in the class gets to share! Share your stuff!

  1. 1

I found a book of Best Food’s mayo recipes at my daughters book fair. I’ll post a yummy-looking recipe!

    Tuscan Glazed Chicken

    1/3 cup mayo
3 TBSP finely chopped roasted red pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp balsamic vinegar
    1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

    1. Preheat oven to 425*.
    2. Combine all ingredients except chicken in medium bowl. Arrange chicken on a baking sheet, then evenly top with mayo mixture.
    3. Bake 20 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

  2. 2

um…are you eating your raspberries with milk? or is that just the glare from the spoon…either way looks yummy! also, i’m excited about the new instagram feed i started for my blog to share interior design tips in a fun, quick way!

    • YES! with milk! it’s like berries and cream, only using milk to reduce the fat and it was so light and tasty and delicious!

totally going to follow your instagram feed! yay!

  3. I was looking at the Facebook article you posted about eggs yesterday, and it makes me so happy we have our own chickens! We just got our first blue-green eggs this week, which are almost too stinkin’ cute to eat. And, we always store them on the counter, not the fridge πŸ™‚

As for new recipes, I made chili last week, and had some leftover, and decided to do a spin on Mexican Lasagna. It turned out SO good. I can’t believe I’d never done that before. The Trader Joes Fritos made it.

    • I am jealous of those of you with your own chickens – so cool! not jealous enough to do it myself, however πŸ˜‰

will definitely check out that tortilla pie – sounds delish!!

  4. So ready to drink a glass (or a few glasses) of autumn sangria. This week my 9-year-old daughter treated me to the best waffles I’ve ever eaten:
I’ve got to encourage her to do more cooking!
