I have a LOT of cleaning to do, so I’m gonna make today’s Show and Tell super quick! I have two links on Babble this week – I kind of love both of these posts!

I Don’t Succumb to Pinterest When It Comes to Planning Thanksgiving Dinner

As usual, please share stuff with us! Whatever you want! Things from your own blog, great stuff you found on the web this week, anything! And have a great weekend!

  1. Love the articles! We do make-your-own meals all the time. I love it!! From tacos, to baked potatoes, to chili bar, to nachos, it definitely makes my life easier. And it’s fun for the kids too.

And, I just put my 3rd crockpot on my Christmas list (I have 2 standard ones already, but just saw a 13×9 casserole crock pot. How genius!)

This week, we just returned from a road trip to Walnut Creek/SF/Napa/Muir Woods with our kids, and I wanted to share the top 5 DIY Travel Must Haves for Kids. We’ve spent over 40 hours in the car and 20 hours with our kids on airplanes over various trips this year, and these 5 fun activities have been godsends!

I feel like I haven’t been on your website in awhile – life has been crazy! 3 weeks ago, my dad fell off a ladder while painting the outside trim on my house. He now has a new shoulder socket and humeral head, thanks to some donor bone and 1 plate and 9 screws. His heel was also torn off when it caught on the ladder rung and has been successfully reattached. I’m learning what it’s like to help care for your parents the older they get… It’s been interesting. I love my parents even more now. 🙂 It’s made life topsy turvy, but it’s a small price to pay for everything they did for me growing up. 🙂
