This giveaway is now closed, but it’s still a handy post and there are some great green cleaning tips in the comments, so keep reading!
I recently decided to ‘green’ my cleaning supplies, in support of my New Year’s resolution to use less plastic and create less waste. I have to admit, I’m a bit of a clean freak. I love knowing when something has been bleached and is SO SO clean. But I don’t love knowing that every time I run my dishwasher, I’m draining a bunch of yucky chemicals out of my house into the world. I must also admit that, until now, I didn’t real trust green cleaning supplies. I just wasn’t so sure that they would actually work.
Well, I’m happy to report that Phase 1 of cleaning green has been a success! I discovered a few great products that have worked really well, including Bon Ami and Seventh Generation’s dishwasher soap, among others. I’ve also gone back to using good old vinegar and baking soda. That is by far my most favorite cleaning agent for my stainless steel kitchen sink! One day I cleaned the kitchen counters with vinegar and Anna walked in and asked what was cooking for dinner. It was pretty cute.
Coincidentally, at the same time that I started swapping out a lot of my cleaning supplies I was introduced to the company Full Circle Home. I was totally game to try out some of their products and do a giveaway on the blog since I was already looking into these types of products! Full Circle makes beautiful cleaning tools from sustainable and renewable sources and I’m really liking everything I’ve tried so far. I was most excited to try out the cellulose cloths, hoping to replace a lot of my paper towel use. They are super absorbent and you can toss them in the dishwasher to clean them. Super cool! Oh, and the walnut scrubber sponge? I never thought I could find a sponge besides the classic green and yellow Scotch-Brite sponges to make me happy, but this one is just as great!
They also sent me a freezer compost bin…how smart is that? Freezing compost scraps – genius! But we’re not going to talk compost just yet…that is another post for another day! (I promise, we WILL talk compost at some point, though!)
Giveaway time! One of you randomly-selected, lucky clean freaks will receive the same lovely package of Full Circle Home goodies I did, including: Walnut Scrubber Sponge, Scrap Happy (freezer compost bin), Stick ‘Em magnetic dish towel, Tidy dish cloths, Scoop sponge, Squeeze cellulose cloths, and The Ring veggie scrubber.

Sounds good to me!
I also like the Norwex cloths. They have one that cleans glass and stainless steel appliances with just water. It’s pretty incredible.
I’d love to try these out!
we had an interesting discussion at easter about using vinegar- I could not convince my sister (who only feeds her kids organic vegies) that the benefits (cheap and green) were worth putting up with the smell…..
these look really neat
They sound wonderful. I must check out the website.
We are expecting our first child in December. Time to look into these products.
What a great giveaway! I’m going to their website right now to learn more.
Never heard of this brand but I’m new to *green cleaning* as well…sounds great!

I liked your facebook page!
My new favorite way to make household cleaner is by soaking orange peels in vinegar. Smells wonderful and works great dor mirrors and windows!
Instead of using harsh chemicals to kill the over-growth on a path all you need in vinegar! It kills everything it touches so just spray spray away. If you want it to be rush add a splash of soap to help the vinegar stick to the leaves.
I swear I’m trying to give up paper towels!
I love using vinegar. I actually like the smell. I spray down my counters and cutting boards all the time with it!
I love my reusable snack and sandwich bags that can be washed in the dishwasher. But I had no idea there were cleaning cloths that could be washed the same way. Wonderful! We do compost, and I can’t believe I never thought of putting the scraps in the freezer.
I’ve never heard about this company, but only use green cleaning products. I would love to try these!
i just started believing in green cleaning about a month ago when we unclogged our (gross apartment) sink drain with baking soda & vinegar. now i use that combo to clean the bathroom. love it!

I, too, have “greened” my cleaning routine in the last few months and really enjoy making my cleaners now. Good luck with yours!
I recently jumped on the vinegar bandwagon for cleaning and I love it! My favorite tip I learned from pinterest is how to clean my microwave: Combine vinegar and hot water in a bowl and nuke it for 5 minutes. Then wipe out your microwave. It works perfectly every time to get all the nasty junk out without using chemicals! Thanks for such a great giveaway!
I follow This Week for Dinner on facebook.
I could use some new cleaning supplies! Thanks!
I would love to try some of this stuff (but I guess that requires me to clean too, right?). If only this house would clean itself, life would be so much simpler. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

Cleaning cloths that go in the dishwasher? Sounds great to me! Excellent giveaway, thanks!

Always nice to find things that work well and are better for us & the environment.
Nothing cleans like white vinegar and water.
Cool.
I was just talking to my mom the other day about “greening” up my cleaning supplies. This sounds like the perfect give away.
Charlie’s Soap is great for the laundry!
White vinegar and water is my go-to cleaner. Very inexpensive and does a superior job to many of the cleaning products on the market. Check out Hints from Heloise. She is a huge proponent of anything vinegar.
I would love to try these!
My son and I are getting serious about green cleaning. He’s been having horrible allergy problems. Last week he did the floors (yes, I’m that lucky) and used only warm water after sweeping. He said his allergies did not act up as normal.
This is a great post and I’m going to be reading all the comments.
Great idea for a give a way! Would love to go more GREEN!
Just started using white vinegar for cleaning-this would be perfect to go along with it.

Vinegar is great, but doesn’t smell so good. If I’ve used a lemon in cooking I don’t throw it away, I use what’s left of it to clean and everything it touches smells good. Sinks, toilet rims and bottoms, garbage disposals, etc. are some of the places I’ve tried.

I’ve been doing the vinegar and baking soda thing for quite a while, and this weekend when we washed all the windows I opted for vinegar/water spray instead of windex… worked better than the blue stuff! I do need to add reusable cloths, scrubbers, and so on to my routine. This would be perfect- thanks!
Just in time for some spring cleaning!! Would love to win these quality products. Tip: add some perfumed “oil” to the top of a light bulb and when you turn it on the fragrance will permeate the room.
