i just joined Juice in the City and will buy a Kepler’s deal. love the deal, thanks!
Both Keplers and Cafe Borrone hold a special place in my heart. Aside from the fact that Cafe Borrone has delicious food and is a great place to relax and hang out with friends AND the fact that Keplers is an amazing independent bookstore… I met my husband many years ago when I was working at Borrone’s and he was working at Keplers! Not only is the cafe and Keplers a perfect combination but apparently their employees were a perfect combo too!! So many good memories in Menlo Park!!!
I don’t think I can beat the above comment, but I love books and good food–and books about good food!
Cool giveaway! How fun! I have joined JTC. BTW Greg and Liz are signing their book tonight at Kepler’s. π
how can I not comment, such a great giveaway! I am already subscribing to JITC, and have bought today’s Kepler’s deal π
I love Keplers and Cafe Borrone! Such mainstays of Menlo Park. This is an awesome giveaway Jane!
whoops! The book signing is tomorrow night at 7, not tonight. Kepler’s is the best.
Yay for Bay Area giveaways! I also signed up with JITC.
Two of my favorites places to go to recharge my batteries! And I joined JITC–thanks for the information.
I LOVE Menlo Park!!! And Menlo Park week! π So so happy to be living here once again!
Thanks for all of these spotlights! And I DID join Juice in the City. Can’t wait to go to both of these places!
Such a great giveaway! I love Cafe Borrone :]
Two of my favorite places! Just joined Juice in the CIty too. Can’t wait to go shopping!
Three cheers for Cafe Borrone and Kepler’s Books!
I’m a member of Juice in the City too. Hope I win!
Our favorite breakfast place, flashed a couple teenage boys outside of Keplers as a novice breastfeeder so it will always have a place in my heart π
Yay! Two of my favorite places! We stopped by Kepler’s last night in a hurry because I forgot my hardback copy of Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix at work (haha) and I needed the paperback anyway to save my hardback edition. There was an MD speaking on his book about overeating and it was fascinating to listen as I crept by to grab harry potter from the children’s section. Anyway, love Kepler’s and we eat at borrone’s at least once a week π
I’ve also joined JITC! Thanks Jane!
I’m in Palo Alto and go by Cafe Borrone all the time, but I’ve but never tried it–a gift certificate would be the perfect way to remedy that!
I *heart* Menlo Park! Love the deals, Jane! Thank you!
Thanks for the tip on the Juice in the City deal. Definitely good for Christmas for my little bookworms! Also love love Harold McGee – great food scientist.
Cafe borrone — yum
Oh and I bought the Juice in the City Kepler’s deal!! So excited to go back and spend some quality time browsing through that fantastic store AND am hoping that Cafe Borrone will have corn fritters on the menu – they looks AMAZING!!

Such a fun week of give-a-aways. I could spend hours at both places. Kepler’s has my favorite children’s section, and Barrone’s has my fav shrimp salad. π
I love both of these places! I just joined Juice in the City to buy the Kepler’s deal and I hope to eat those corn fritters this weekend. Thanks Jane!
