There are three bottles in my kitchen that I love. Every time I use them I’m grateful for them. You must be dying to know what they are…okay, I’ll tell you.
Trader Joe’s Real Maple Syrup 32 oz. bottle
This is the best maple syrup bottle ever. There’s a lip around the edge that catches the dribbling syrup, and then a hole in that lip for the syrup to drip back down into the bottle. Why aren’t ALL bottles made like this? Seriously, it’s genius. I buy my real maple syrup wherever I find it lease expensive (most often TJ’s or Costco) and then just keep reusing this bottle.
Trader Joe’s Clover Honey 24 oz bottle
I’ve never met a honey container I liked. EVER. Until this one. The plastic bottle is actually pliable enough to squeeze, so you don’t have to stand there all day waiting for the viscous honey to drip down. The cap gets a little messy like most dispensers, but it works well (I think better than most). I buy my honey at Costco and pour it into this bottle.
Upside down ketchup bottles
I love upside down ketchup bottles. I know Heinz makes them. Maybe other companies do too? Regardless, the idea is a revelation. You don’t have to wait for the thick ketchup to work it’s way down, and you don’t get that water squirting out first, turning your hot dog bun into bread pudding. Love it.
Yes, these are the things that make me happy. I suppose that’s why I have a food blog. 😉

Upside down ketchup bottles are THE BEST! I will have to keep my eye open for a syrup bottle like that. Very cool!
I am terrified of the upside down ketchup bottles! They pack such a power punch when you finally get the strength to squeeze them that I always make a mess. Wait… should I have shared that? Haha.

I’m with Jamie. Just can’t successfully squeeze that upside-down bottle. Sometimes I just want a *little* ketchup!
But TJ’s syrup is the BEST. Not just for the bottle. I prefer the taste over Costco or any others I’ve tried.
I love it when my husband puts the same upside down Ketchup bottle in the fridge, right side up…defeating the entire purpose! It’s comes in Ranch dressing too. 😉

Safeway (Carrs on East?) carries the O Organics line which also has the upside down ketchup bottle. It’s convenient and tastes great…though I also have a husband that puts it away the wrong side down.
I don’t think he’s the first husband to do so… 😉

LOL and I thought my husband was the only one to put the upside down bottle of ketchup in the fridge the wrong way – totally defeating the purpose! And great to know that TJ’s syrup is good. I was there today and almost grabbed it but wasn’t sure how it was. Now I know and will get it next weekend! Thanks!
