Week 143 Menu

I went to a baby shower brunch yesterday. The food was so good, including these amazing chocolate cookies…I’ll get the recipe for sure!

On to the menu! It’s kind of a combo of the last two weeks’ menus…stuff that I didn’t end up cooking.

– Leftover lasagna

Orange Chicken and rice
– Veggie

– Homemade pizza

Beef stew
– Whole wheat crusty bread

– Leftovers

– Pumpkin pancakes

– Eating at friend’s home

    With all the soup posts, I have been inspired to make a pot of Chicken noodle soup for the upcoming week.
    S: Picking up friend at airport, probably get bite out
    M: Turkey Bolognese with ww linguine & salad
    T: Chicken Noodle soup w/sweet rolls
    W: Pot Roast, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli
    T: Chicken & Broccoli quiche, salad
    F: Homemade Pizza
    S: Oktoberfest!

  2. -Beef and Broccoli with Rice from The Steamy Kitchen Cookbook
    -Quiche Lorraine (I have bacon and green onion that need to be used up) and this salad, but without the tortellini
    -Super Easy Chicken Parmesan with Pasta and Veggies
    -Butternut Squash Soup and Homemade Bread (focaccia, maybe?)
    -and of course leftovers!

    I still have not tried making pumpkin pancakes. I really need to do that sometime!

    I like to freeze leftovers and have a leftover week.
    Looks like this is the week.

    Wed. turkey burgers

    Fri. Chicken stirfry
    Sat. Ravioli
    have a good week

    Fri: Crawfish Enchiladas, Spanish Rice

    M – blue cheese burgers + homemade beet chips
    T – veggie stir fry
    W – wet burritos (chicken and rice burritos smothered in enchilada sauce)
    T – risotto with pesto

    Fri-Sun- I am in Cali…froze a couple of meals for family while I am gone, otherwise they can fend for self!! 🙂

    Saturday: MU Homecoming Go TIGERS!

    This is the first tiem I’ve posted! The baby is finally eating whatever we’re eating (and lots of it!). So, variety and kid-friendly items are a must!

    Su – Roasted chicken, cornbread, and baba ghanoush
    M – Tuna salad sandwiches
    Tu – Orange beef, veggies, and rice
    W – Cream of mushroom soup (had to try the recipe!!) with leftover cornbread…the baby’s birthday!
    Th – Homemade pizza
    F – Stuffed peppers
    Sa – Out

    We are remodeling our basement so this week has to be easy.
    Monday: Black bean soup with Dorie’s corn muffins. I made a big pot on Sunday-gotta love leftovers:)
    Tuesday: Pasta with slow roasted tomatoes and veggies
    Wed: Pumpkin waffles
    Thurs: Black bean enchilada casserole
    Friday: Homemade pizza
    Sat: Hopefully eat out or cereal:)

    The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Oh, wait, no, it’s just me actually getting a menu together and posting it…
    S-Teriyaki Chicken
    M-Baked Pork Chops and Potatoes
    T-Cream of Vegetable Soup
    W-Rosemary Chicken with Acorn Squash and Peaches
    Th-Sloppy Joes (sweet and sour kind) OR left overs
    F-Some kind of Pre-Race Pasta
    Sa-Chicken Noodle Soup?

  18. The cookies look dangerous! LOL Can’t wait for the recipe.
    My menu is also up on my blog with recipe links. Trying a new one today (Mon) for pork roast.

    -Lunch: Encore of Pizza pockets
    Finished off the frig leftovers for dinner

    Monday – Autumn Pork Roast, baked sweet potatoes, rolls

    Tuesday – Pulled pork sandwiches (using leftover pork) with ranch potato wedges and slaw

    Wednesday – Brunswick stew (using left over pork, adding chicken)

    Thursday – Leftovers

    Friday – Ranch chicken, creamed potatoes and corn on the cob

    Saturday – Halloween party (taking a dessert)

    Sunday – Leftovers or Vegetable Soup with grilled cheese

    Wednesday-baked chicken legs (crispy), green beans, some kind of noodle
    Thursday-Stuffed shells w/sauce, salad
    Friday-Taco night
    Weekend – still planning but hopefully at some point going out for my Dad’s birthday!

    Having a party over the weekend produces lots of leftover food to eat up. My menu this week is very easy:

    Sun-chili with hotdogs
    Tue-chicken brushetta roll ups
    Thu-hot dogs
    Sat-open/date night

    M- Yellow curry mixed veggies, jasmine rice and garlic naan
    T- Leftover tortilla soup!
    W- Turkey taco salads
    T- Crock pot chicken cacciatore, noodles, cuke salad
    F- Out!
    S- Not sure yet!

    Halfway through this pregnancy and MAYBE my taste buds are finally returning. We’ll see after this week, I guess!

    Mon: Spinach and prosciutto lasagna (Thank you! My first time trying it.)

    Tues: pecan and feta salad from the Picky Cook, by way of Katie’s post this week

    Wed: enchilada soup

    Thurs: Your Asian spinach salad

    Fri: possibly Tyler Florence’s Mexican pot roast so we can eat it all weekend. 🙂

  28. I’m finally sharing. Taking my weekly menu off of my fridge to share it here. 🙂

    Monday: wild Coho Salmon pan seared with a splash of mystery Japanese sauce (bought at the Japanese supermarket with Japanese only label)
    Tuesday: Dinner with husband’s boss. Kids are having panko crusted chicken tenders with sitter
    Wednesday: Roast chicken with shallot butter, cranberry sauce, and chicken liver stuffing
    Thursday: Skirt Steak and beet blue cheese salad
    Friday:Butternut Squash Soup and ordering in pizza

    I only plan the weeknights…
