Week 197 Menu

Happy Halloween!

I love these marshmallow pops my friend Nicole gave us. Just pop a marshmallow on a stick, dip in candy melts (like you get at Michaels) and voila! Super cute and kids love them. I might have to remember this for other holidays!

I can’t believe tomorrow is NOVEMBER. Unbelievable.

Kitchen Sink Quesadillas

– Cassoulet-Style Italian Sausages and White Beans (from Perfect One-Dish Dinners)
– Salad and bread

– Spaghetti

– Leftovers

– Eat out (have Cate’s dentist appointment late that afternoon)

– Paninis (either caprese or chicken w/avocado & honey mustard)

– Waffles

Yup, it’s that time again…time to share your meal plan for the week!

    I’m actually on the ball this week and have had the menu planned since Friday. You don’t know how already there is a load lifted for the upcoming week.

    Saturday: grilled shrimp tacos

    Sunday: Pizza party with friends

    Monday: fish and some type of vegetables

    Tuesday: Pork tenderloin with quinoa

    Wednesday: Homemade chicken nuggets, fresh carrots, and butter noodles

    Thursday: take-out

    Friday: Greg’s “sauce” – meatballs, sausage, pasta, garlic bread…wine…yum!

    Saturday–Spaghetti with some of the sauce I made and froze
    Sunday– Sloppy Joe Casserole
    Monday–Chicken & Dumplins (planning to blog this one this week!)

    Thursday–Garlic Chicken Parmesan and noodles (hoping to blog this recipe too but I am having trouble finding one of the ingredients!)

    Don’t know if I’ll get to all this since I’m nursing a pretty terrible cold (and 175 months pregnant!), but here’s the plan:

    Tue – risotto and salad
    Wed – turkey bolognese
    Thu – fusilli pasta with peas and cheddar
    Fri – Leftovers ???
    Sat – out for hubby’s b-day

    You are a woman after my own heart. We plan our week on Friday night so I can do the food shopping on Saturday morning and have been that for years. I’ve made those marshmallow pops for Christmas for my daughter’s preschool class a few years ago and called them sugar-plums.

    Tues – Rotisserie chicken & stuffing

  34. Just discovering your blog. Love it! I plan our weekly menus on Saturday morning before heading to the farmers’ market and grocery to shop for the week, so I plan my weeks starting Sundays:
    Su – Chard frittata & salad
    M – Indian night! Chole (chickpeas), baingan bhartha (eggplant), bindi (okra) & chapatis (whole-wheat flatbread)
    T – Indian leftovers
    W – Brussels sprouts & sunchoke hash with pancetta & fried eggs
    Th – Big salad
    F – probably out
