Is Chard Tacos something you’ve tried before? Sounds like it has potential for great flavor.
Hi Jess. We had thought we tried this once before, but it was actually kale and not chard we had! We made it last night, with actual chard this time. While it was tasty, I don’t think it’s the best use of chard. I think chard can be cooked in a way that makes it really stand out. That being said, I’ve found recently that putting anything in a corn tortilla instead of flour ones instantly kicks tacos up a notch!
Ok, so I never made my ham the week before last because I forgot to take it out of the freezer in time and it threw my whole menu plan off for that week. So here we go again with the ham:

we had a same menu day this week, I too made stuffed peppers on Tuesday. Your recipe looks GREAT! I will certainly try it in the near future. We got home late on Monday, with an overtired toddler, so I made “quick” stuffed peppers – ended up using 3 sweet italian sausage links, spinach, bit of tomato sauce, italian blend shredded cheese, garlic, onion, chopped 1/2 orange pepper – stuffed into green peppers, topped with slabs of mozz cheese. basically it was a fast, use up all the odds/ends in the fridge stuffed pepper recipe.

Thurs – spaghetti

Friday: Chili-lime drumsticks, potato salad, lemon-miso green beans
Saturday: Meatloaf burgers, sweet potato fries, spinach salad
We spent this last January in Rome, Italy and LOVED romamesco!! It was way more common than the broccoli we knew, and our kids loved it! We lived just a coupld blocks from Rome’s Trionfale market, totally amazing but I was newly pregnant and could not handle some of the strong smells. And my husband got quite obsessed with the romanesco since it is fractal. Such fun!!
