Week 254 Menu

Today we’re taking the girls to the Nutcracker, thanks to Mimi and Grandpa Herms! The holiday season has officially begun!

I am absolutely loving having all these meals in the freezer…it really, truly makes life so much easier. Almost makes me want to do what my blogger friend Tricia does. But yeah, I have no illusions I will ever be that organized!

Butternut Squash Soup (we didn’t get around to it last week)

    Monday: mushroom and spinach frittata

    Tuesday: class for me [last one…yay!], Ben fends for himself. πŸ™‚

    Wednesday: White Mac & Cheese

    Thursday: breakfast-for-dinner”¦ it’s been awhile

    Friday: Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

    Saturday: Pork Tenderloin, sauce TBD

    Sunday: leftovers

  2. I’m also relying on food from the freezer this week. Not feeling motivated this weekend to get an inspired menu together! πŸ™‚ I do believe we’re entitled to have a week like that every now and then!

    Sunday: Leftovers with oven fries
    Monday: Lasagna roll-ups from the freezer
    Tuesday: Grilled cheese on farmer’s market bread (all the talk on your blog of grilled cheeses has made me crave them) and fiesta corn from CSA basket
    Wednesday: Dinner at church.
    Thursday: Thai Chicken Thighs in slow cooker
    Friday: Leftovers? or squash pancakes
    Saturday: Date night!!

  3. I can’t wait until my girl is old enough to go to the Nutcracker. One more year, I think.

    Sunday: Super Sliders w/ Salad (Recipe shared by Kami

    Monday: Chicken Noodle Soup (trying my hand at SCRATCH, a combo of Tyler Florence’s and Ina Garten’s recipes…can’t wait to have all that chicken stock in my freezer.)

    Tuesday: Spaghetti & Meatballs w/Salad

    Wednesday: Taco Soup

    Thursday: Nachos for my girl and my man. I’m going out to a fancy pants dinner at Cucina Toscana in SLC.

    Friday: Leftovers

    Saturday: Husband’s company Christmas party

    Sunday: Husband’s French Onion Soup

    Here is our menu for the coming week. We had a couple meals last week that were skipped so they are being recycled here.
    Saturday– kids and I are having Corn Dogs. I just needed them, you know?!

    Wednesday– Salmon and pasta
    Thursday– Beef Stew
    Friday– I bought some maple sausage that is just screaming out for Pumpkin Pancakes!

    Well, my meal plan is already off track because we opted for pizza last night. It was rainy and I didn’t feel like cooking! Other things we’re eating…

    Tried the chicken curry soup last week from this site’s recipe list…I used curry paste instead of powder, but thought it was great.
