Week 257 Menu

Merry Christmas!

My Christmas present to myself this year is NO MENU! 🙂 That’s right, I’m rebelling and not planning a thing for the week. We’ll just pull stuff out of the freezer, eat out, pick at leftovers…you know, holiday eating!  I’m thinking Christmas chocolate should keep us sustained, right?

Hope you all have a great holiday season whatever holidays you are celebrating!

    Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

    Monday – Ham, scallop potatoes, applesauce
    Tuesday – Chicken, potato salad
    Wednesday – Shrimp scampi, garlic bread, green salad
    Thursday – Ham, green beans and potatoes
    Friday – Leftovers
    Saturday – Hotdogs, kielbasa and sauerkraut, snacks
    Sunday – Pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, peas, deviled eggs Happy New Year!

  2. Sunday: Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, ceaser salad and rolls

    Monday: Leftovers

    Tuesday: Tacos

    Wednesday: Beef Enchiladas and Chees Enchiladas

    Thursday: Chicken Noodle Soup

    Friday: Fish and Chips

    Saturday: Texas Two Step Pork Chops, Dill Potato Salad and chipotle corn.

    I’m with you Jane. No plans at all. We’ve (and by we I mean me) been existing on a steady diet of cookies anyway, so a little fasting will do us good.

    M – pasta
    T – carcass soup and turkey curry for the baby(she loves curry, and it’s her birthday, so she gets why she wants) & lemon tart
    W – more soup
    Th – bean soup
    F – leftovers
    S – go to Obaachan and Ojiichan for New years and toshi koshi soba.
    Sun – mochi, sechiryouri, soup. Traditional Japanese New Year food.

    Owen is absolutely adorable!

    Oh and we got the book in our last Christmas package from Grandma! It’s so fun, thank you.

    Wednesday: steak soft tacos
    Thursday: pizza, salad, garlic bread
    Friday: spaghetti in light lemon pesto
    Saturday: out
    Sunday: new years brunch, Chipotle for dinner

    That is just about the cutest Christmas kid picture I have seen this year! What a snuggle bug 🙂
    No menu here as we are travelling to family tomorrow. Tonight we will try to rid the fridge of leftovers and whatever doesn’t get eaten will be the chickens’ post-Christmas treat tomorrow before we leave!
    I am going to try to take a picture of our meal each night while we are visiting and then posting it all when we get back. Might be fun!

    We have a houseful of people for the rest oft he week. So, we will be dining on leftovers, house guests preparing an authentic Spanish dinner, and whatever sounds good at the time people are hungry!

    Mon – Green chile and rice
    Tue – Kung Pao Chicken w/ rice
    Wed – Italian Sausage w/ Ravioli
    Thu – Chicken Cordon Bleu w/ orzo
    Fri – Tomatillo Chicken w/ rice
    Sat – This is my last “free” meal. Starting tomorrow, I am dieting with a goal to lose 75-100 lbs by September so I can start trying on wedding dresses! Weight Watchers, here I come!

    Tues – orange chicken & broccoli over rice
    wed – pork fajitas, baked beans
    Thurs – chicken quesadillas, twice baked potatoes
    Fri – homemade pizza
