Week 355 Menu

These bananas are going to be used in something out-of-this-world-delicious later today. Well, assuming all goes well it will be out-of-this-world-delicious. And, if all does in fact go well, you’ll be getting the recipe this week. Everyone cross fingers and toes!

– Nate and I are going to the Stanford/USC football game. GO STANFORD!

  1. We’re having a super easy/cheap week this week and not necessarily healthy.

    – Fish Sandwiches & Tator Tots
    – Fish Tacos, Corn & Black Bean Salsa, & Spanish Rice
    – Dijon Maple Chicken, Parmesan Pasta, & Broccoli
    – Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, & Pasta Salad
    – Bacon Cheeseburgers, Fries, & Cucumber Onion Salad
    – Totchos (like nachos, but with tator tots instead)

      I think I’m in the same boat as you – I had a wonderful dessert once with fried bananas and coconut ice cream with chunks of young coconut. HEAVEN.

    So excited to post this…I cooked all day today and am finished for the week! Woohoo, I am exhausted though, but ready to reap the rewards!
    Sunday- cashew chicken and jasmin rice
    Monday- meatballs and spaghetti
    Tuesday- chicken stew over rice
    Wednesday- meatball poboys
    Thursday- whatever is leftover
    Friday- homemade pizza
    Saturday- chicken taquitos

    Plus I squeezed in Mass, the grocery and four loads of laundry! Only sad part is, it was a beautiful day and I spent it inside!

  18. Something baked, I hope… love banana baked goods! I’ve started straining the ripe bananas, they end up prettier and people who “think” they don’t like bananas end up loving it.

    Great minds think alike! I’m making your Black Bean & Sweet Potato Burritos too! In fact, I prepped it last night, for tonight’s dinner, by making the beans, slaw, and potatoes ahead of time. Oh my word they are DELICIOUS! I could NOT stop taste-testing the beans out of the pot. This recipe is a KEEPER!! Thanks!!
