Week 384 Menu

My house really needed to be cleaned this weekend but, alas, the berries were calling and I spent all of my free time making this year’s supply of freezer jam. And, by the way, I do believe that indicates that my priorities are in order. Also, I sure wish it was practical for me to put all the jam into Bonne Maman jars, but I only have three on hand. But seriously, how cute?!?

    Sat: leftovers or out

    Saturday – Leftovers

    Tuesday: Pizza Take Out
    Wednesday: Bean Stuffed Masa cakes with Fresh Salsa and Guacamole
    Thursday: Breakfast for Dinner–Coffee Cake and Eggs
    Friday: Carne Adobado Soft Tacos
    Saturday: Out To Eat
    Sunday: Avocado Bruschetta and Cajun Shrimp Guacamole

    Saturday: pizza [probably from Sam’s. because we’re cool, aka we have a coupon for a freeee pizza :)]

    Saturday: Travel to Cleveland for the week! First road trip with the kiddos. Pray for us! 🙂

    Wed: Baked sweet potatoes (not sure what topping to go for yet)
    Thur: Spinach and feta stuffed peppers, couscous, griddled courgettes
    Fri: Herb roast haddock, asparagus and courgettes
    Sat: Lemon and herb meatballs, new potatoes, spring greens
    Sun: Lasagne and salad

    Hi Here is my GF menu for the week. I’m trying to keep it lower carb and a bit healthier since i was on vacation last week and ate total garbage and feel like crap. Why do i do that ?
    Sun – Pizza
    Mon – Turkey Tacos
    Tue – Its my anniversary so we are getting takeout from a GF restaurant in town. i raarely do takeout because I prefer to be at the place asking if its gluten free the entire time but i’m gonna try it 🙂
    Wed – Pork Tenderloin & broccoli
    Thu – Salad
    Fri – Mushroom burger and veggies
    Sat – ????

    Mon — tortelloni primavera
    Tues — turkey burgers, fries
    Wed — prince spaghetti night (6 yo’s choice)
    Thurs — homemade pizza (with sundried tomato sausage & roasted cherry tomatoes)
    Fri — BFD

    Tues – Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff, Rice, Green Beans
    Wed – BBQ Chicken Salad, Watermelon
    Thurs – Fettuccine Alfredo, Broccoli
    Fri – Awards Banquet
    Sat – On Your Own – Everyone has a different schedule today – This is also known as Clean Out the Fridge Night
    Sun – Linguine w/Tomatoes, Spinach and Clams

    Tues: slow cooker pork ragu over pasta, sautéed Swiss chard

  16. The weekends have certainly been flying by. That always happens in the summer… Here’s my plan for the week…

    rosemary parm chicken and asparagus (on the grill!)
    seared scallop alfredo and caesar salad
    pizza night
    asian meatballs and rice

    Good for you for making jam!! I never have the time to make it anymore, but luckily a good friend of mine gives me a jar of homemade every month. Thank goodness!

    Finally have a meal plan this week. Life is soooo crazy these days and we’ve been flying by the seat of our pants lately. So, it’s nice to have a plan!

    Sunday (yesterday) – Easy stuffed shells (your recipe) with garlic bread & salad
    Monday (today) – Hot Dog bbq at the park
    Tuesday – Taco Soup
    Wednesday – Breakfast burritos with raspberry jello salad
    Thursday – BBQ chicken quesedillas
    Friday – Chili Nachos
    Saturday – Eat out maybe? Or leftovers?

    Last week of school this week! Looking forward to a break from homework, but not about entertaining everyone for 2 months. 😛
