Week 395 Menu

How is it Sunday already?!

We pretty much followed our menu to a T last week, which means more work, thinking and planning for me today. I hate it when I’m all responsible-like about following our meal plan! 😉 It’s the last full week of summer before school starts, so we are gonna try to live it up!

Asian Spinach Salad

– Take out night – two soccer practices right at dinner time AND at the same time! I’m gonna have to ease back into the whole crazy Fall schedule thing, here.

BLT Pizza

Caprese Paninis

– Leftovers

Chicken Caesar Wraps

– Breakfast for Dinner: Waffles!
– Fresh fruit

    Sat: turkey & spinach tacos
    Sun: grilled pork tenderloin, green beans, brown rice, applesauce
    Mon: pasta alfredo with asparagus & summer squash
    Tues: chicken with prosciutto & sage, sautéed spinach, carrots
    Wed: grilled pizza, salad
    Thurs: grilled shrimp and panzanella salad
    Friday: camping- one last hoorah before summer break ends!

    Monday: Pasta and meatballs
    Tuesday: Italian Beef
    Wednesday: Beef tacos with the fixin’s
    Thursday: Homemade pizza
    Friday: Leftovers

    I wasn’t very inspired this week; didn’t even plan any special veggies to go with entrees – looks like a canned corn, green bean, carrot, and salad week!

    french dip sandwiches (made in crockpot)
    Ranch Cheddar chicken
    Oven Tacos (still haven’t made them from two weeks ago)
    Lasanga Rollups
    Parmesan chicken soup

    I’ve been slacking… On vacation for a week, then away for work for another week… I’m back at it this week!

    Sun — out
    Mon — roasted beet risotto, green salad
    Tues — chicken broccoli Alfredo
    Wed — shrimp scampi pizza
    Thurs — BBQ pulled pork stuffed sweet potatoes, green salad
    Fri — leftovers or BFD

    Thursday – Pizza, salad
    Friday – Crockpot sausage with peppers & onions, coleslaw, fries

      Lisa, I will be glad to share them with you. They are so easy and delicious and an easy way to use leftover potatoes and no one cares that they are eating leftovers. Hope you and your family enjoy them as much as we do. I agree regarding the auto correct too!! lol

      Leftover mashed potatoes or you can make fresh, 4 ounces softened philadephia cream cheese, 4 -6 ounces sour cream, I use cheddar or Colby jack cheese, bacon and chives. (I don’t measure these 3) Just mix them all together and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 -40 minutes.

    We started back to school last week, while my sister and her 3 kids were here. So, it was a crazy way to start the year! Good thing the first week is easy on the homework… I have no idea what I’m making for dinner this week. Yikes! We seriously just had homemade chocolate chip cookies for dinner tonight – that’s how “off” we are. Haha!

    I have a question: You had an instagram post not too long ago about you and your daughter making a bunch of different chicken dishes (like 8) for a cosmo article. Did I miss the article or the post about that?? I was hoping to read it for some new ideas. Thanks for any info!

    Tue: Lamb and veggie curry (with leftover roast lamb), rice
    Wed: Salad with goat’s cheese toasts
    Thur: Pasta with garlicky broccoli, green salad
    Fri: Chicken pie with peas and green beans
    Sat: TBC.
    Sun: Dinner at Mum’s

  11. Monday: work event
    Tuesday: Mexican cornbread pot pie [that I didn’t make last week]
    Wednesday: turkey burgers
    Thursday: leftovers
    Friday: out to eat
    Saturday: wedding 🙂
    Sunday: something easy”¦typical Sunday fare [roasted chicken, frittata, breakfast for dinner, etc.]

  12. It’s winter over here in Sydney so we are into comfort food this week:
    Monday: Spiced Shepherds Pie with Sweet Potato Mash
    Tuesday:Spaghetti with grilled chicken & asparagus
    Wednesday:Baked Salmon & Veggies
    Thursday:Chicken Curry & Cauliflower Rice
    Friday: Beef Stroganoff
    Saturday: Chorizo, Chicken & Rosemary Risotto

  13. Monday – Ham and Chicken Dirty Rice

    Tuesday – Shepards Pie

    Wednesday – Spaghetti and Meatballs

    Thursday – Pork Loin and Veggie Pot Pie Potatoes

    Friday – Chipotle Chicken One Pot Pasta

    Saturday – Korean Beef

    Sunday – Leftovers

    School starts on Wednesday for us, although we have been having band and color guard rehearsals already.

  18. I have been slacking these past two-ish weeks and NOT made a menu plan. At somepoint I will learn that no matter how much experience making supper I have, a meal plan is ALWAYS a must. This week’s goes off the hope that I will not have to go to the store for much.
