Week 405 Menu

The AYA Summit for Women and Girls put on by ONE in Washington, D.C. this week has completely taken over my brain. I’m having a hard time thinking about a weekly menu, but here goes!

– Homemade bread

Creamy Pesto Fettuccine with Mushrooms and Tomatoes
– Bread and salad

– Take out (last night of soccer practices for the season – woohoo!)

– Leftovers (something quick before trick or treating!)

– Eat out – last night with my dad in town!

– Dinner at friends’ home

    Crockpot french dip sandwiches, cole slaw
    pizza crescents, lima beans
    goulash, peas & carrots

    Sun: Steak, baked potato, green beans
    Mon: pasta w/ roasted tomato sauce (roasted the last of my tomatoes this weekend), salad
    Tues: roasted veg frittata w/ toast
    Weds: tex mex chicken & bean stew with tortilla chips
    Thurs: leftovers
    Fri: out to eat

    Monday – Spaghetti with sausage
    Tuesday – salmon, fries and veggie
    Wednesday – white chili
    Thursday – chicken with rice and salad
    Friday – pizza ( a halloween tradition!)
    Saturday – com[any in for the weekend – playing’ it by ear –

    Sat- Caprese pizza, spinach salad
    Sun- Cheeseburger sliders, baked sweet potato fries, red bell peppers
    Mon- Tortellini in vodka sauce, salad
    Tues- Buffalo Chicken Chili, Corn
    Wed- Pork Chops, brussel sprouts with balsamic, carrots, applesauce
    Thurs- Leftover chili
    Fri- Not sure yet- something easy before trick or treating!

    Sat — quesadillas, fries
    Sun — tortellini tomato spinach soup
    Monday — turkey chili with fresh bread
    Tues — minestrone soup, fresh bread
    Wed — homemade pizza
    Thurs — lasagna roll ups
    Fri — baked potatoes topped with leftover chili

  6. Our village does trick-or-treating the Sunday before Halloween (strange). So, we had beautiful 70-degree weather today for hundreds of trick-or-treaters. My 6yo only wanted to visit a couple friends’ houses so she could go back home and hand out candy in costume. Very cute.

    Sunday: Pork tenderloin (with a “warming spice” dry rub) with roasted sweet potatoes and apples, and green salad

    Monday: Roasted sweet potato stuffed shells

    Tuesday: Pumpkin pancakes (in the oven)

    Wednesday: Black-eyed peas, rice and corn bread

    Thursday: homemade chicken nuggets 

    Friday: something quick before trick-or-treating

    Saturday: Out

    • my husband would LOVE what your town does, except he would want it on friday. he was just saying that he thinks halloween should be the last Friday of october – that just makes so much more sense than a random school night!

      that is so cute your 6yo wanted to get home – SO cute. 🙂

    Mon: Cauliflower cheese with garlic bread
    Tue: Chicken with lemon and broccoli, rice
    Wed: Spaghetti aglio, olio, pepperoncino with salad
    Thur: Twice baked potatoes, broccoli
    Fri: Pulled chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries, corn
    Sat: Mushroom bourguinon and ricotta gnocchi
    Sun: Dinner at mum’s

    Supposed to be in the 70’s a couple days this week so we are taking advantage and having some quick fun meals before we have to start the wood burner…lol

    Sunday – Salmon patties, twice baked potatoes, peas
    Monday- Grilled chicken, mac & cheese, green beans
    Tuesday – Pumpkin sausage pasta, salad
    Wednesday – Chicken fries, rice pilaf
    Thursday – Pizza, salad
    Friday – Bagel dogs, corn on the cob minis
    Saturday – Leftovers

  9. Monday – Mini Meatloaves, Rice, and Country Gravy

    Tuesday – Oven Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans, and Fish in a Tomato Sauce

    Wednesday – Mexican Chicken and Rice Casserole

    Thursday – Spaghetti Bolognese

    Friday – Fajitas

    Saturday – Grilled Chicken Breast, Potato Croquettes, and Bearnaise Sauce

    Sunday – Beef, Leek, and Mushroom Stroganoff

    Sun – pizza night
    Mon – leftover pizza 🙂
    Tue – beef & veggies in crockpot
    Wed – burrito bowls
    Thu – leftover beef & veggies
    Fri – out for dinner
    Sat – shrimp pesto pasta

    Sun – pork roast w/roasted potatoes & brussels sprouts
    Mon – Hash (using last night’s leftovers)
    Tue – BBQ meatballs, rice, vegetables
    Wed – Oven roasted chicken, cauliflower cheese
    Thu – Soup & sandwiches
    Fri – Pizza/leftovers
    Sat – quinoa w/roasted vegetables

    I’m turning 30 this week!!! We’re taking a family road trip to celebrate. Lots of good food this weekend!

    Sunday-Grilled BBQ Bacon Burgers, Chips, Pickles
    Monday-Broccoli Beef w White Rice
    Tuesday/Wednesday-Slow Cooker Carnitas Burritos, Black Beans
    Thursday-Sunday-Road Trip! Eating out.

  13. Monday: baked rigatoni with bechamel sauce
    Tuesday: leftovers from the weekend
    Wednesday: pumpkin chicken meatballs with spaghetti squash {didn’t make last week}
    Thursday: black beans and Mexican rice
    Friday: lemony kale pasta
    Saturday: pork chops + baked potatoes
    Sunday: out to eat

    Friday-Sunday: Husband is in charge, we will see 🙂
