Week 407 Menu

Hello! I hope you’re all having a great holiday weekend! Ours has been filled with soccer games, which  are {thankfully} over! And Nate and I are going to see Jake Bugg and the Black Keys tonight. I am beyond excited!

I have to be totally honest with you, I am SO not in the mood to plan a menu today. I keep putting it off, but I’m finally just sitting down and getting it done.

Swedish Meatballs (I found some already made up in the freezer – happy surprise!)
– Potatoes, lingonberry jam, salad

Pesto Tortellini Soup
– Homemade bread

Rachel sandwiches
– Fresh fruit and chips

– Leftovers

– Chicken Caesar salad with homemade croutons

– Eat out night

– Roasted veggie frittata
– Smoothies

    Tuesday- chicken piccata
    Wednesday – Take out rotisserie chicken and roasted sweet potatoes
    Thursday- leftovers
    Friday- some type of pasta
    Saturday- family party

    Monday: Beef and Cheese Enchiladas and Avocados and Tomatoes
    Tuesday: Homemade Chicken Nuggets and Oranges
    Wednesday: Homemade Mac n Cheese and Broccoli
    Thursday: Spaghetti and Meatballs and Apples
    Friday: Cheeseburgers, Grapes, and Oven Fries
    Saturday and Sunday: Left Overs

    Sunday: Wild Rice Soup at a friend’s house
    Monday: Steak, potatoes, asparagus, salad
    not sure what nights for these:
    Asian Pork & Noodles
    Tater Tot Hot Dish, asparagus
    Lentil Soup w/ baguette

    Tuesday – Taco Tuesday😊
    Wednesday – maple salmon, baked potato, green beans with mushrooms and red peppers
    Thursday – fish sticks and sweet potato fries

    Saturday – out to dinner
    Sunday – breakfast for dinner French toast with bacon and fresh fruit

    Finally getting back into some “normal” life. Although, there is no school here on Tuesday due to Veteran’s Day so of course my kids invited everyone and their dog to sleep over!

    Today – Hawaiian Haystacks
    Monday – Quesedillas and probably order pizza for the hungry boys
    Tuesday – Pancakes
    Wednesday – Chicken Chili Verde Soup
    Thursday – Sweet and Sour meatballs
    Friday – Possibly Leftovers
    Saturday – Eat Out

    Mon: Chicken and vegetable curry with rice
    Tue: Spaghetti carbonara, green salad
    Wed: Gnocchi, sausage and tomato bake, salad
    Thur: Quiche, roasted broccoli with garlic and lemon
    Fri: Chicken club wraps, spicy wedges, leftover broccoli
    Sat: Bibimbap
    Sun: Dinner at Mum’s

    Our meals are slowly starting to take on a winter time feel – heavier and more sauce. Not a bad thing, just different. I did include one ‘fun’ meal for the kids. We will probably have something beyond popcorn for that meal, but that will be the main ‘dish’ while watching a movie.
