Week 408 Menu

Hello, everyone! It’s been a bit of a crazy week for a family, but we’re hanging in there! Despite the crazy we still gotta eat, although I will admit we ate out a lot more last week than I was planning on!

Here’s the plan for this week!

Pesto Tortellini Soup
– Homemade bread

Malibu Melt Wraps
– Fresh fruit and chips

Naan pizzas (I’ll be in SF meeting Rick Bayless with Negra Modela – I can’t wait!)

– Leftovers

– Hot dogs and/or hamburgers
– Baked beans and carrots

– Eat out night

– Breakfast for Dinner TBD!

    Weds: chicken w/ mustard cream sauce, green beans, potatoes
    Thurs: out-pizza
    Fri: taco salad with leftover taco meat
    Sat: maple Dijon pot roast in the crockpot, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables

    Friday – Roasted Cauliflower, Mushroom, and Goat Cheese Quiche with Quinoa Crust
    Saturday – pomegranate-Braised Short Ribs and Creamy Polenta and Mushrooms
    Sunday – Mexican Shepherd’s Pie

    Tuesday – Steak Sandwich with peppers/onion, Veggies/Dip

    Friday – Football Game Semi-State so something quick – frozen pizza or chili in crockpot?
    Saturday – Hamburgers, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Cole slaw

    Monday: Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic and Broccoli and Rolls
    Tuesday: Riders in Chaps, Guacamole, Cabbage and Tomatoes
    Wednesday: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Oranges
    Thursday: Beef Quesadillas and Cabbage
    Friday: Salmon and Corn on the Cob
    Saturday: Left Overs
    Sunday: Breakfast for Dinner-French Toast and Fresh Fruit

  13. Sunday: We had a ravioli and mozzarella making party at our house; SO FUN! We had ravioli and caprese salads

    Monday: Homemade chicken nuggets

    Tuesday: Stuffed shells (filling = sweet potato and ricotta)

    Wednesday: Spicy chicken nachos  (encore from last week; it was quite popular)

    Thursday: leftovers

    Friday: pizza

    Saturday: out

    Mon – Pork tenderloin w apples/shallots & cauliflower
    Tue – Crockpot creamy tomato soup w basil
    Wed – quinoa & black bean burgers w veggies
    Thu – Leftover soup
    Fri – OUT for dinner
    Sat – Steak & sweet potatoes & salad

  15. Sorry I’m late to the party. But I just planned my menu. Hah!

    Sunday-Grilled Cheeseburgers, Homemade Onion Rings, Pickles

    Monday-Bacon, Mushroom, Pepper Jack Omelets, Fresh Fruit (we had 3 dozen eggs from our chickens last week!)

    Tuesday and Wednesday-Slow Cooker Beef Stew

    Thursday-Spaghetti with Pomodoro Sauce, Bread, Broccoli

    Friday-Date Night!!
