Week 420 Weekly Menu

Hello everyone! Another week, another meal plan! Here goes…

– Leftovers (we have so many from last week – all my meals got pushed later in the week because we had so many Super Bowl food leftovers!)

– Naan Pizzas
– Salad

Easiest Ever Chicken Pot Pie
– Salad

– Cuban Fricasé de Pollo (chicken stew) – new recipe I’m trying!
– Rice

– Leftovers

– Eat out night

– Breakfast for Dinner: Yorkshire Pudding
– Fresh fruit

We didn’t get as many menus as usual last week…I think it must be because you were so busy being excited for Tom Brady, right? (Sorry, Seahawks fans! That was a GOOD game though, you’ve gotta admit!) Anyway, there is no football to distract us this weekend, so back to work! Can’t wait to see your meal plans for the week. Thank you for sharing!

    Ugh, is it ever going to stop snowing in Massachusetts?

    Sat — turkey chili
    Sun — baked fish, risotto, roasted sesame green beans
    Mon — kale & Apple soup, fresh bread
    Tuesday — baked chicken, carrot tahini salad
    Wed — homemade pizza: bbq chicken & red onion, pepperoni
    Thurs — kale & sweet potato quesadilla, hash browns
    Fri — eggs, bacon, hash browns

    • I can’t believe how much snow you guys are getting! when I lived there 15 years ago it never snowed near the coast….as soon as we moved away that all changed, and I am a wee bit jealous…although I’m not having to shovel out of my house, so easy for me to say, right? 😉

      We will happily ship you some! there is literally no place to put it. I actually just asked my hb to shovel out the grill so we can grill the chicken tonight! HA!

    Monday-Taco chilli, a freezer meal for the crock pot–hurray for preparing ahead!
    Tuesday-Baked Mac & cheese and broccoli
    Wednesday-Black beans and coconut lime rice
    Thursday-tuna melts and carrots
    Friday-Birthday hot dogs
    Saturday-Left overs

  3. Coming back from Zion today, and no menu planned. Junior has a bunch of therapy appts to make up, plus we’re having a second round of solar panels installed, plus a contractor coming to install a new wall to wall cabinet for the school room. Plus tball starts this week, and basketball is still going on, so my menu will probably read “take out or frozen” 🙂

    Btw, you totally need to go back to Zion and stay more than one day. My kids had a blast running around and throwing rocks and climbing like little crazy people 🙂

    Sunday – Ham steaks, broccoli and mac and cheese
    Monday – stir fry with snow peas and asian noodles
    Tuesday – crockpot meatloaf, baked potatoes, and squash
    Wednesday – buffalo chicken egg rolls, french fries and cole slaw
    Thursday – Sunday- Away!

    Monday: roast salmon with broccoli and Yukon golds
    Tuesday: peanut chicken sauté with green beans, mushrooms and red onion
    Wednesday: pork wontons (homemade from the freezer) in chicken broth
    Thursday: work dinner / leftover Chinese
    Friday and Saturday: travel

    Tuesday -Crockpot cheeseburger sandwiches w/baked fries

    Friday – Leftovers
    Saturday – Chicken and lentil soup and High School band sub

    Wednesday – Saturday: We’re taking our 1st grown-up vacation in 7 years!! Grandparents are watching the kids and I have a variety of meals planned….ya never know what they’ll be in the mood for
    Smoky ribs in slow cooker
    Chicken noodle soup in slow cooker
    Pot roast
    Baked pasta

    Monday – bulgar and barley casserole
    Tuesday – “meal-in-a-bowl” soup
    Wednesday – leftovers
    Thursday – chicken curry
    Friday – spaghetti
    Saturday – tbd

    • do you have a good recipe for the coconut curry veggies? we always order that from indian restaurants thinking it will be yummy, but it’s always not that great…I think I just need a good recipe to make it at home!

    will be me and my daughter.

  19. So I am super late, here’s what we did this week, I thought I had already done this 🙂

    Monday: Pasta with Mushrooms, Spinach and Goat Cheese
    Tuesday: Oven Pizza and Fruit
    Wednesday: Frickadeller and Corn
    Thursday: Sausage, Mushroom and Spinach Pasta Bake
    Friday: Out To Eat for Valentine’s Day
    Saturday: Steak Fajita Bowls and Avocado and Tomato
    Sunday: Penne with Broccoli, Cheddar and Bacon
