Week 422 Weekly Menu

Hello everyone! Today I’m doing something I have NEVER done before with my menu – I am copying and pasting last week’s menu! I had every intention of using that meal plan, but life took a little turn on Monday when I fell of the bathroom counter trying to kill a bug. Let this be a lesson to you – towel racks are only meant to support towels, not humans. I’m FINE, but it definitely threw my week off and I never did regular grocery shopping. I still cooked, but it was just throwing stuff together from around the house along with a few things I grabbed at Costco later in the week. Hence, my first ever weekly menu repeat! I debated doing this, but it’s a really good menu and I WANT to make it, so here we are!

week 422 weekly menu from @janemaynard including FREE printable meal plan and shopping list for the week!

– Chicken Fried Rice (going to go for something like Behihana makes)

– Penne in vodka sauce (thanks to Michelle for the idea!)
Garlic bread and salad

– Golden Moroccan Lamb Stew (another Penzeys recipe we’re trying) with rice

– Leftovers

Carnitas tacos
Guacamole and chips

– Eat out night

– Leftover carnitas

Click here for the free printable of this week’s menu plus the shopping list!

You know the drill, please share your menu for the week, even if it’s the same exact one as last week! Apparently that’s kosher around here. 😉

A concussion for a bug…ouch!!! I kicked the corner of my open dishwasher on December 29 and am STILL in a boot with a fracture! That along with shoulder surgery in February has slowed me down just a bit. But I digress. I was reading comments/menus/bug saga and saw your walking taco question. They are a concession stand staple! You use the small bag of chips, we use fritos but some people use Doritos, crushed a bit, then spoon in your meat and or beans, finish with other toppings of choice, and stick a fork in it…a walking taco! We do meat, black beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and TJs salsa verde. (And if we’re home we cheat and just make them in a bowl.)

    • ah, man, your poor foot! so frustrating when the injury is over something so dumb – at least I’m not alone! 🙂

thanks for filling me in – I had never heard of walking tacos!! 🙂
