Week 424 Weekly Menu

I totally followed last week’s menu. I have such mixed feelings about that…I mean, I’m happy I followed the plan and used all the food I bought. BUT…now I have to use my brain to plan a whole new menu. Curses! Good thing I have all of your menus from last week to inspire me!

Chicken Tortilla Soup

– Meatball Subs
– Chips and raw veggies

– Fried Rice (I haven’t quite perfected it so giving it another go!)
– Potstickers

– Leftovers

Easy Peasy Bean Tacos
– Guacamole and chips

– Take out night

Waffles and Home Fries

    Hoping after the 9 inches of snow we got last week along with the below zero temps that winter will let Spring make an appearance now!

    Sunday – Easy caramalized pork chops w/onions, baked potato casserole with sour cream, butter and cheese, mixed medley veggies
    Monday – Chicken Parm w/pasta(hold over from last week, salad
    Tuesday – Chili mac & cheese, cornbread
    Wednesday – Salmon, baked potatoes, green beans
    Thursday – Potato soup, salad, crusty bread
    Friday – Thin sliced sirloin steak, mushrooms & peppers over rice
    Saturday – Leftovers

    Sunday – turkey breast and stuffing in the crockpot
    Monday – spaghetti and sausage
    Tuesday -cauliflower butter chicken with rice
    Wednesday – salmon with fries and salad
    Thursday – leftovers
    Friday – out
    Saturday -cheese enchiladas

    Mon: Chilli tacos, slaw
    Tue: Baked potatoes with pesto and goat’s cheese, salad
    Wed: Pizza and salad
    Thur: Pasta with broccoli
    Fri: Chicken club wraps, wedges
    Sat: Lamb and mint meatballs, roasted vegetable cous cous
    Sun: Dinner at Mum’s

  5. Glad to hear your week was back to normal (and health, too??). I love Smitten Kitchen’s Ginger Fried Rice. That’s been my go-to recipe for years.

    Sunday: Stuffed chicken breasts and cauliflower rice
    Monday: Ground beef lettuce cups and mashed potatoes
    Tuesday: Chicken noodle soup in the slow cooker and pretzel sticks
    Wednesday: Pizza (caramelized onions, goat cheese, and cranberry sauce for grown ups; pepperoni for kiddos) with a side of cranberry sauce
    Thursday: Taco Bake
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out

    Sat: tacos, corn salad
    Sun: roasted chicken, sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts
    Mon: mandarin orange chicken, broccoli, brown rice
    Tues: chili
    Wed: grilled cheese sandwiches, salad
    Thurs: leftover chili
    Fri: not sure yet!

    The first of many more “less wheat” menus…

    Sat — out
    Sun — roast beef, green beans, mashed potatoes
    Mon — quinoa, Apple, chicken sausage with roasted butternut squash
    Tuesday — quiche Lorraine with a hashbrown crust, fruit salad
    Wed — spaghetti (squash) with meatballs
    Thurs — crockpot chili with cheese crisps
    Fri — Out

    Mon: Kalua Pork sandwiches; hummus & veggies
    Tues: biscuits & gravy; fruit salad
    Wed: Buffalo Chicken Tacos; coleslaw
    Thurs: Spaghetti & meatballs; garlic bread; green salad
    Fri: Bang Bang Chicken; quinoa; roasted broccoli
    Sat: Macadamia-crusted tilapia; roasted cauliflower; green salad
    Sun: Pot Roast; Orange Rolls; mashed potatoes; roasted carrots; green salad

  9. Monday – Ginger Lime Pork Loin with Rice and Carrot Salad
    Tuesday – Pork Roast with Potatoes
    Wednesday – Smothered Burritos
    Thursday – Pork Chops with Green Bean Casserole
    Friday – Lasagne and Garlic Bread
    Saturday – Schnitzel with Boiled Potatoes and Gravy
    Sunday – Beef Stew with Noodles

  10. Monday: Kung Pao Chickpeas and Veggies over Rice
    Tuesday: breakfast for dinner
    Wednesday: tacos and mexican rice
    Thursday: baked rigatoni with bechamel sauce
    Friday: leftovers
    Saturday: out to eat
    Sunday: roasted chicken

    Monday- Samosas, naan, peas and rice
    Tuesday- Margherita pizza and salad
    Wednesday- Pasta w/red tuna and capers sauce

    Saturday- Veggie Frittata

    Wednesday-Southwest Chicken and Rice Bake, Steamed Carrots

    Thursday and Friday-Beef Stew and Biscuits (with carrots and potatoes from our garden)

    Saturday-Out to eat

    I have one question about the paper towels–I saw your post…how do you wipe up grease from seasoning your cast iron pan and also draining bacon after cooking? Those are the only things I really use paper towels for, but can’t figure out how to do without?

    Wednesday: Salisbury Steaks, Rice, and Peas
    Thursday: Breaded Chicken and Mozzarella Sandwiches with Tomato and Basil
    Friday: Loose Sausage and Peppers Subs with Fresh Veggies
    Saturday: Pork Saltimboca and Salad
    Sunday: Steak Fajita Bowls, trying to make them like the old Taco Bell ones, we’ll see how it goes 🙂
