well, next year our last day is like June 26, so we’ll make up for it in a year! 🙂
It is exciting to start summer break. It is so nice to see how much they like their teachers when they don’t want the school year to end. Our school ended a week ago Friday so we are already in lazy mode! In fact we are heading to the beach one week from today! (so will not be doing a menu next week) Hoping for Sun on the beach for a week since here it will only give us a day or 2 of sun at a time. Grrrr

http://www.livehalffullblog.com/2015/06/07/meals-workouts-67-614/
I always liked school, but couldn’t wait for summer to start. Guess it’s a little different in Ohio when it’s finally warm enough to be outside! 😉
spinach enchiladas with homemade guac
stuffed peppers
creamy dijon chicken with spinach strawberry salad
homemade pizza (with peppers from the garden already!)
dinner at our friend’s wedding reception!
yes, definitely a little different in ohio! 🙂
M – Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs and Rice (http://www.bailiehemborg.com/2014/09/meals-of-the-week-teriyaki-pineapple-meatballs/)
T – Pork Stroganoff with Noodles
W – Leftovers
Th – Taquitos and Beans
F – Roast Chicken, Rice, and Green Beans
S – Mozzarella Artichoke and Tomato Chicken with Pasta
S – Pork Stew with Mash
pork stroganoff – intriguing! what pork cut is it?
I use a cut of pork loin we get in Sweden that I sadly do not think is readily available in California but with a bit longer cooking time pork shoulder works great!
The end of this week holds a camping trip for the kids and I, hence the break in meal plans. The second list for lunches and suppers are what my husband will probably eat. Since he works during the day, he won’t have time to make meals all the way from scratch, so these are some I can make ahead for him, or that he can do quickly.
Lunch:
1.Eat Out
2.Minute Steaks, fried potatoes, peas
3.Pizza
4.Meatball Curry, rice, vegetables
The following are the remaining meals for my husband to eat while the kids and I are gone.
1.Kheema: Indiana Ground Beef with Peas, rice
2.Spaghetti with meat sauce
3.TBD
Supper:
1.Leftovers
2.Falafels, tomato salad
3.Salad
4.Lemon Chicken with angle hair pasta
I will be honest in saying that I am not sure what my husband will eat for supper the remainder of the week. Here is what I am guessing that he will make, as he has several things happening in the evenings.
1.Eat out
2.Salami sandwich
3.Salami sandwich
