Week 443 Weekly Menu

Happy Sunday! I brought all my design files for the weekly menu graphics, but I just discovered my travel laptop doesn’t have the right software. Whoops. So, instead of a picture of my menu how about one of my mom’s hydrangeas? Flowers are prettier than menus, anyway.

Even though I don’t have a PDF of the meal plan and shopping list, I still planned a menu for the week!

– BBQ Chicken on the Grill
– Fresh NJ corn on the cob and summer fruit

Chimento Chicken (aka Chicken Croissants)
– Side veggie

Taco night

– Leftovers

– Eat out for our last night in NJ

– Arrive in Falmouth, MA for our annual Cape Cod vacation
– No idea what we’re having for dinner yet! Who cares, we’ll be on the cape!

    Aww, Sandwich…where my Mom grew up, and a place I’ve visited (along with a variety of other places around the area) many times. Have fun!


    • sandwich was where the family vacation was for almost 20 years! falmouth is a new development, but we love sandwich – what a lovely place to grow up for your mother!

    Mon – Tri Tip, Cheesy Potatoes, Green Beans
    Tues – Chicken Tostados
    Wed – Grilled Pork Chops, Mashed potatoes, Peas
    Thur – Sun = Vacation
    Happy Summer

  3. Monday: Breakfast Style Brioche Pizzas and Fresh Fruit
    Tuesday: New England Style Baked Beans and Fresh Veggies
    Wednesday: Schnitzel Sandwiches and Bacon Wrapped Scallions
    Thursday: Cinnamon Creme Brioche and Scrambled Eggs and Fresh Fruit
    Friday: Slow Baked Salmon and Barley Salad
    Saturday: Fried Chicken Tacos
    Sunday: Vanilla Banana Fries

  4. Sun-Out
    Mon-Pizza night with
    Tues-Corn bacon hash
    Wed-Chicken curry
    Thurs-Brown sugar and cumin Salmon

    Sat — out
    Sunday — poached cod with caramelized leeks
    Mon — grilled chicken with red potato and green bean salad
    Tues — summer ratatouille with chicken sausage
    Wed — Homemade pizza
    Thurs — lentils in white wine with herbs
    Fri — pancakes with blueberry sauce

    Tue & Wed: Business Travel
    Thu: Crab cakes, corn on the cob, coleslaw

    Sat: Church Festival

    I never made the oatmeal cookies last week”¦”¦but I did manage to eat the whole bag of M&M’s!!

    Sat: grilled chicken thighs, caprese salad, corn on the cob
    Sun: turkey kielbasa, grilled pineapple, red peppers, couscous
    Mon: buffalo chicken chili
    Tues: BBQ wings, salad
    Wed: broccoli and cheese omlettes, grilled sweet potatoes
    Thurs: leftover chili

  8. The lid to my food process broke yesterday, and, of course, everything I wanted to make this weekend needs the food processor…..go figure. Amazon Prime to the rescue!

    Sunday: Pork chops, green beans, roasted cauliflower, and lettuce salad (veggies from the garden!)
    Monday: Tilapia foil packets with shaved Brussels sprout salad
    Tuesday: Burgers on the grill with homemade buns and roasted carrots
    Wednesday: Lasagna roll-ups
    Thursday: Florida dinner – rice, beans, and cornbread
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out

    • that is so annoying! I broke a lid once and you can’t get a replacement lid, at least the person I talked to said that…dumb to have to get a whole new processor, but I guess that’s the way it goes!

  9. Happy vacation! I might have to rethink my vacation timing next year… September seems so far away right now!
