Week 452 Weekly Menu

It’s birthday week around here! Owen and I share the same birthday in September and this coming weekend we will be doing all of the celebrating! Owen has asked for a pirate-themed party and a birthday cake shaped like an anchor. This might be the easiest birthday cake requested of me yet…phew!

TUESDAY:
Rachel Sandwiches
– Fresh fruit

WEDNESDAY:
– Butternut Squash Gnocchi (recipe to come on Babble!)

THURSDAY:
– Leftovers

FRIDAY:
– Eat out for my birthday celebration!

SATURDAY:
– Eat out for Owen’s birthday celebration, after a Pirate Party in the afternoon πŸ™‚

SUNDAY:
– Omelettes
– Fresh fruit

    Sunday: Salad with roasted chicken thighs and roasted garlic dressing (didn’t get to this last week)

    Monday: Bf cooks

    Tuesday: Pork belly BLT & chips

    Wednesday: Cheese stuffed shells & salad with homemade zesty Italian dressing

    Thursday: Buffalo chicken sliders with blue cheese & carrot/celery dippers with homemade ranch (didn’t get to this last week, either)

    Friday: Out with friends

    Sat: Not sure yet, maybe something grilled

  2. Happy birthday!!! Enjoy the week. I’m out of town on Monday/Tuesday. So, easy meals for the family to prepare.

    Sunday: Paella (ATK recipe)
    Monday: Stuffed chicken breasts
    Tuesday: Pasta with marinara
    Wednesday: Indian burritos; so excited to try them (did all my prep tonight!)
    Thursday: Individual Pizzas
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out

    Wednesday – grilled Tunisian chicken and salad
    Thursday – leftovers
    Friday – out
    Saturday and Sunday. – fend – I’ll be in Philadelphia volunteering at the world meeting of families and the Papal Mass!

    Wednesday: I’ll be on a blogging trip to North Carolina so Ben gets leftovers tonight.
    Thursday: Ben says he’s making some awesome Hamburger Helper tonight.
    Friday: I’ll just be getting back so I bet we’ll go out to dinner together.
    Saturday: taco salad
    Sunday: frittata with bacon and fruit on the side

    Happy Birthday to you and Owen! Enjoy your special days!
    We have a couple celebrations this week too. Makes for an easy meal plan…that plus a friend gave us a large bag of chicken legs and thighs so lots of it on the menu along with the last yummys from the garden.

    Sunday – Garlic chicken, cabbage & noodles, coleslaw
    Monday – Pizza, salad
    Tuesday – Buffalo chicken & pasta
    Wednesday – Lemon chicken and potatoes, honey glazed carrots
    Thursday – Out for Granddaughter #4’s Birthday
    Friday – Our Anniversary so out again
    Saturday – High school band sub, broccoli soup
