Week 463 Menu

This is going to sound funny, but I hate it when I diligently follow my weekly meal plan! That means when I go to plan the next week, I have to come up with totally new ideas. This is one of those weeks. What got into me? 😉 Okay, here’s goes…

    Tues – Take out
    Wed – Lemon Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Caesar Salad
    Thurs – Tamale Pie, Salad
    Fri – Homemade Pizzas
    Sat – Sausage, Potatoes and Peppers
    Sun – Baked Ravioli Casserole, Salad, Garlic Bread

    Sun: chicken fajitas
    Mon: fettuccini Alfredo, shredded kale salad
    Tues: caprese panini, salad
    Wed: kielbasa, roasted vegetables, couscous
    Thurs: breakfast for dinner
    Fri: not sure yet
    Sat: out for dinner

  4. Can I tell you how much I’m loving the podcast?! I have assigned a voice for you over the years I’ve been reading your blog, and hearing your real voice has messed with my head. 🙂 The interviews are great. You sound like you’re genuinely having a great time, and your guests are quite interesting. Keep it up!

    Here’s the menu…
    Sunday: Out

    Monday: Hamburgers on homemade buns

    Tuesday: Chicken piccata and broccoli

    Wednesday: Dry rub ribs in slow cooker

    Thursday: Black beans, rice, and cornbread (“Florida dinner”)

    Friday: Leftovers 

    Saturday: Smothered chicken from ATK (carryover from last week)

    Your stuffed baked winter squash looks divine!

    Sun: Cioppino & Sourdough bread

    Mon: Out with friends

    Tues: Salad with roasted chicken thighs and creamy garlic dressing (can’t get enough of this lately) & Cauliflower soup

    Wed: Cashew Chicken, Rice, & Sesame Cucumber Salad

    Thurs: Mushroom and Cauliflower Carbonara & Green Salad

    Fri: Out to dinner and Nutcracker

    Sat: Not sure yet

    • the squash is super yummy – it’s been ages since I made it, but I have a bunch of acorn squash that I used as thanksgiving table decorations….glad it forced me to pull the old recipe out!

    Monday – Tomato basil orzo soup, pesto grilled cheese sandwich

    Friday – Ham slices, cabbage & noodles, peas
    Saturday – Leftovers

  8. I feel like I’ve been so disorganized ever since Thanksgiving! I guess Christmas shopping, wrapping, and decorating has taken over my organizational skills 🙂 We’ve been driving to and fro trying to find the best Christmas Lights displays in all of San Diego county 🙂

    Yesterday I threw some chicken breasts into the crock pot so I could shred for meals this week:

    Monday: Chicken and Veggie Pita Sandwiches with homemade Tzatziki, Roasted Red Potatoes

    Tuesday-Chicken Enchiladas, Carrots, Mexican Rice

    Wednesday-BBQ Chicken Pizza, Green Salad


    Friday-Lentil Soup, Biscuits

    Saturday-out to eat

    Sun – steak tips, roasted acorn squash, spinach
    Mon – tortellini primavera
    Tues – butternut squash soup, Apple cheddar paninis
    Wed – homemade pizza
    Thurs – pot roast, baked sweet potatoes (crock)
    Fri – breakfast dinner
