Week 485 Weekly Menu

It’s been a great Mother’s Day around here with a lot of lazing about for me, just the way I like it! Luckily I planned my weekly menu yesterday so, throwing this together wasn’t a big deal today. I even have the grocery shopping done, yay!

  1. Happy Mother’s Day!!!

    My 7 year old woke me up with a crown, a homemade card, and a bracelet from her own collection. Then we had my mom over for dinner. It was a great day. Hope you had a wonderful day as well!

    Monday-Chili and Cornbread

    Tuesday-Chili over baked potatoes

    Wednesday-Breakfast for dinner-omelets maybe?

    Sunday: I cooked for my mom and sister and our whole family. I made this dinner party menu from The Yellow Table and it was delicious:
    Mon: Left overs
    Tue: Quiche & salad
    Wed-Fri: Business Travel
    Sat: Shrimp & veggie stir fry w brown rice

    Sunday – Parm chicken w/pasta, salad, garlic toast
    Monday – Mac & cheese w/chicken, spinach and tomatoes
    Tuesday – Ground meat enchiladas
    Wednesday – Leftovers
    Thursday – Burgers and fries
    Friday – Beef stroganoff over noodles
    Saturday – High school band sub probably with some kind of soup since the are forecasting rain, again, all this week:-p

    I plan my meals for the next week on Thursday because my husband does the grocery shopping on Friday after work!

    Chicken and noodles, peas & carrots
    Sausage, broccoli, lima beans
    Spaghetti using Rigatoni noodles, meatballs, steamed green beans
    Taco Salad
    Hot Chicken Salad casserole (this has been carried over for three weeks!)

    My husband usually cooks on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

    Sat – OUT at an event I am photographing
    Sun – crockpot whole sticky chicken, mashed potatoes, tennessee onions, sauteed squash medley
