Week 490 Weekly Menu

Hi friends! So, I’ve been a complete failure at making dinner lately. Seriously. There is just SO MUCH GOING ON these last few weeks of school. I call uncle. It is finally our last week of school and I’m just gonna see how it goes. Since it’s such a loosey-goosey menu, I’m not going to bother with the PDF! I am super excited for school to be over so that we have  a bit of time to get back into a good food groove.

– Dinner salad with grilled chicken

– Hamburgers

– Pancakes and fruit

– Pool party day

– Benihana to celebrate the end of the school year (girls’ request!)

– Take out night

– Omelets and fruit

    Sunday – Spinach & feta stuffed chicken breasts, baked potatoes, broccoli
    Monday – Bean and beef taco casserole w/nacho chips
    Tuesday – Leftovers
    Wednesday – Roast beef sandwiches, pierogis
    Thursday – Hot Chicken sausage in sauce w/onion & peppers sandwiches, fries
    Friday – Stuffed pepper casserole
    Saturday – Leftovers

    I have repeats from last week that I never got too. In fact, one night we ate Cheerios 🙂

    Sun: Baked chicken, baked potatoes, corn
    Mon: Baked ziti, salad
    Tue: Leftovers
    Wed: Tuna burgers, baked fries
    Thu: Caesar salad with shrimp
    Fri: Out
    Sat: Away with family for Father’s Day Weekend

  4. My family is out of town early this week. I took some vacation and I am painting & purging clutter this week. Woo hoo. I also get to make some new, “strange” recipes (their words, not mine) my family might or might not like.

    Sunday: Cauliflower/mushroom crumble
    Monday: Tabbouleh salad
    Tuesday: Buffalo cauliflower bites
    Wednesday: Homemade chicken nuggets and green beans(homecoming meal for my family)
    Thursday: Make your own Pizzas
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out with Grandma

    Tuesday – Herb Chicken Tenders with Lemon Cream Sauce and Potatoes
    Wednesday – Chicken Chili and Rice
    Thursday – Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta
    Friday – Pizza
    Saturday – Sausage and Goat Cheese Pizza

      can I get your recipe for Chicken Chili & Rice?

    • Hello! Thank you so much for asking I was just going to make it up as I went along but things got switched around as they so often do with a meal plan and we had rice last night so today is coming up with something for chicken and potatoes!

    Texas Hash, Veggie
    Subway (we have coupons)
    Baked chicken chimichangas, refried beans

    Hubby cooks weekends or we eat out

    I feel ya! This is the first week that I’ve cooked in a while.

    Sun: Back from vacation – airport food
    Mon: BLT, Pasta-Veggie Soup
    Tues: Italian Stuffed Peppers over Pasta, Tomato & Blue Cheese Salad
    Wed: Roasted Lemon Chicken Thighs with Potaoes, Eggplant Gratin
    Thurs: Tomato Risotto, Green Salad
    Fri: Out
    Sat: TBD, probably grilling

    My husband has been away on an extended business trip, my daughter’s husband is away this week so the menu has been all over the place!
    Sunday – sushi take out
    Monday – dinner at IKEA and a bit of shopping
    Tuesday – slow cooker pork tacos
    Wednesday- Singapore noodle
    Thursday – possibly our local beer garden if the weather holds out
    Friday- our town’s annual art and music fest!
    Saturday- second day of music fest!
