Week 525 Weekly Menu

Happy Monday! Just sitting down now to get my menu down on paper. You know, I am really happy that (so far) I’m sticking with my 2017 resolution of cooking dinner more often…it’s awesome for so many reasons. HOWEVER…I have to come up with a whole new menu each week. There is definitely more thinking involved and I’m not sure I approve. 😉

Chicken Soup with Rice

– Carrot sticks and chips

– Leftovers

    Wed: Hamburger Soup & Crusty Bread (didn't get to this last week)
    Thurs: Chana Masala, Naan, Raita
    Fri: Out
    Sat: Crock Pot Beef & Rice Stuffed Peppers & Bacon and Onion Green Beans
    Sun: Who knows?

  4. I have recovered from having Influenza A (the one year I don’t get a flu shot….) just in time for my birthday!…my 29th, of course! 😉

    Wednesday: Mississippi Roast in the slow cooker over mashed potatoes
    Thursday: Leftovers
    Friday: Blue Apron

    W- Black bean burgers, roll, green beans

    Mon: Orzo cooked in red garlic sauce, salad
    Tue: Heart shaped pasta, with white parmesan sauce, pink shrimp, and peas. Salad. Chocolate covered strawberries
    Wed: Grammy’s Orange Chicken, green beans, & brown rice (my husband requested this”¦..hasn’t been on our menu recently!)
    Thu: Sloppy Joes, chips
    Fri: Fish, mixed veggies
    Sat: Will be determined while I visit an indoor Farmer’s Market

    Sunday – kielbasa, chicken and shrimp with peppers and onions, egg noodles and salad
    Monday – our Monday staple! salmon, asparagus, rice and salad
    Tuesday – Mixed greens with strawberries and pistachio encrusted got cheese, scallops with creamy tomato sauce over linguine, chocolate bread pudding for dessert!
    Wednesday – assorted ravioli with red sauce and salad
    Thursday – leftovers
    Friday – out
    Saturday – something takeout

    Saturday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Slaw
    Sunday: Chicken Alfredo and Broccoli

    Hey! I know I am late, but I am really trying to get back in the habit of planning my meals and posting my menus, so to keep myself honest and motivated, here is last week’s menu. 🙂

    Monday – YOYO (I had cereal)
    Tuesday – Chinese food take out
    Wednesday – Lasagna, broccoli, bread
    Thursday – Succotash, brown rice, smoked turkey sausage, balsamic sauteed mushrooms
    Friday – Out to eat
    Saturday – Leftovers
    Sunday – Dinner at a friend’s house
