Week 540 Weekly Menu

Clearly I am having a problem with getting my weekly menu planning done. Two weeks in a row that I’m posting on Wednesday AND I don’t even have a menu plan together. Let’s change “Wow, what a week!” to “Wow, what a month!” 😉

So, if you’re totally awesome and have your menu planned AND you happen to check in here even though the week is halfway through, please post your awesomeness in the comments!

As for me and my menu planning…I’ll at least get a lame post like this on up on Sunday for next week. 😉

    Sunday – grandson slept over for the first time! We made pizzas! It was so. I have fun!
    Monday- exhausted from Sunday! Just the two of us, burgers on the grill
    Tuesday – salmon, rice and roasted broccoli
    Wednesday- chopped salad and leftover chili
    Thursday- appointment at the mall – so eating out
    Friday – hoping for nice weather! First Friday in town!
    Saturday – tbd

    School ends in 10 days – seems like the slowest and fastest time of year!

    Sun – Burgers, beans
    Mon – Grilled chicken with random leftovers from the fridge
    Tue – Carne asada tacos, Mexican rice
    Wed – Italian sausage subs, fruit
    Thu – Shrimp Caesar salad
    Fri – Pizza & salad
    Sat – honey-sriracha grilled chicken, rice, snap peas

    I’m having the same issues. Just now decided to try to accomplish a menu plan. There are so many activities at the end of the school year. Only 2 more days til summer break…yay!!!

    Mon: burgers, potato salad, and chips (all made & bought in our local grocery store deli)

    Tu: chicken taco salad

    W: tortellini with marinara & garlic bread

    Th: Costco stuffed salmon & cucumber-tomato salad

    F: last day of school! Going to dinner & a movie… taking my son and his buddy to watch Captain Underpants!

    Sa: going to a b-day party at Pizza Factory

    Su: ribs, potatoes & cheesy squash

    Mon: Memorial Day Picnic with family
    Tue: Oktoberfest chicken (a spice I just bought), green beans, salad
    Wed: Tuna melts & veggies
    Thu: Shrimp Caesar salad
    Fri: Business Meeting
    Sat: Eggs, waffles, and fruit

    Tuesday: Chili Nachos with Guacamole and Pico de Gallo
    Wednesday: Out To Eat
    Thursday: Dump and Done Ramen Salad and Shrimp
    Friday: Open Face Roast Beef Sandwiches and Mashed Potatoes and Peas
    Saturday: Split Pea Soup with Crispy Hot Dogs (Cravings Cookbook)
    Sunday: Stuffed Cornish Hens and Broccoli

    Monday: Burgers/portabella mushrooms/corn on the cob on the grill, focaccia, and kale salad with poppyseed dressing
    Tuesday: Grilled pork chops with plums (ATK 30-minute meal)
    Wednesday: Vegetarian Lasagna
    Thursday: Florida dinner (rice, beans, collard greens, and cornbread)
    Friday: Leftovers
    Saturday: Out
