Week 542 Weekly Menu

Thursday is the last day of school AND I have about 3,152 work deadlines this week. Yes, I am aware this would be the ideal week to have a meal plan pulled together. But, alas, it’s NOT HAPPENING. At least not in the next two days. So, in the interest of keeping it real…

PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE share your wonderful menus in the comments since I’ve got nothin’! And I’m totally going to be stealing your ideas for SURE.

    Monday: Roasted Corn and Tomato Chowder and Garlic Bread
    Tuesday: Grilled Steak Salad with Couscous
    Wednesday: Grilled Garlic Soy Shrimp and Cauliflower
    Thursday: Creamy Spaghetti with Bacon, Peas, and Mint and Green Beans
    Friday: Steaks with Olive, Rosemary and Garlic Pan Sauce and Oven Fries and Salad
    Saturday: Meatball and Brussels Sprouts Pasta and Thyme Roasted Carrots
    Sunday: Husband wants Mexican take out and Chocolate Crack for Father’s Day, easy 🙂

  2. It’s the last week of school for us, too! We have daycare/daycamp starting next week so I don’t even feel like we get a break. I did most of my meal prep this weekend to have some semblance of a menu. 🙂 May the odds ever be in your favor this week.

    Sunday: Out to dinner for Shelby’s dance recital
    Monday: Chicken pot pie and broccoli
    Tuesday: Lentil Chili in the slow cooker and cornbread
    Wednesday: Meatballs & marinara and buttered peas
    Thursday: Leftovers
    Friday: Baked pasta with leftover chili
    Saturday: Out

    Sun: Grilled swordfish steaks, corn on the cob, salad
    Mon: Chicken burgers, chips
    Tue: Fish sticks, peas
    Wed: Naan pizzas, salad
    Thu: Chicken cutlets, baked potatoes, mixed veggies
    Fri: Caesar salad with shrimp
    Sat: Celebrate Father’s Day Weekend!! Menu TBD

    My poor kid is in school until the 27th!

    Sat — Out
    Sun — turkey burgers, sweet potato tots
    Mon — Asian chicken salad
    Tues — Black bean and sweet potato burritos
    Wed — BBQ chicken legs, sweet potato homefries, zucchini Thurs– spinach squares, tater tots
    Fri — French toast & sausage

    Sun – roast, corn on cob, potatoes
    Mon – Chicken Caesar wraps, fruit
    Tue – out
    Wed – Thai style beef & pineapple fried rice
    Thu – Pork tenderloin with pineapple salsa
    Fri – leftovers, out, &/or pizza
    Sat – out

    I meal plan on Thursday and shop on Friday so my meal plans are always late, but…better late than never! I guess

    Hamburger sliders, green beans, fries
    Shrimp, wild rice, corn
    Homemade pizzas, fresh fruit
    Creamy wild rice and veggie soup, chicken from deli, raw veggies
    Homemade mac n cheese, berry delight salad
    Black eyed peas, cornbread, sausage, rice
    Pesto tortellini with chicken green peppers and onions, cucumber and tomato slices, oven fried crispy zucchini strips

    On an extended trip! Chaperoning a high school GAPP (German American Partnership Program) to Osnabruck, Germany for two weeks then a week of travel! Berlin, a few small towns and Reykjavik. Iceland!
