Week 593 Weekly Menu…and HELLO 40!

This week brings my FORTIETH BIRTHDAY. 40. Wow. It’s also Owen’s 7th birthday! We started celebrating this weekend and the celebrations continue this week. So basically I’m a mess in the meal planning department. But I figure you only turn 40 once, seems like a good excuse to slack off for a week! So, my menu is kind of lame…but I’m at least getting this post published so you guys can share your menus. I’m not even bothering with my usual menu graphic because my menu is straight up useless. As a 40th birthday menu should be! πŸ˜‰

– Leftovers from eating at Liberty Public Market

– I am taking Owen to Disneyland to celebrate our special day!
– No clue what Nate and the girls will eat. πŸ˜‰

– It’s Owen’s family year (no friend party), he has requested PF Chang’s (i.e. dumplings) for his special family dinner

    Monday: Spaghetti with Fresh Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella and Basil and Garlic Bread
    Tuesday: Magnolia Table’s Jo’s Fatayar and Lebanese Salad
    Wednesday: Chili and Jalapeno Cornbread
    Thursday: Out To Eat
    Friday: Native American Feast for School–Stew, Fry Bread and Berry Sauce
    Saturday: Fried Chicken Sandwiches and Pickled Vegetable Salad with Goat Cheese
    Sunday: Hubby and I are celebrating 16 years married, going out for steaks, boys get Mac n Cheese πŸ™‚

    Wednesday: Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic & Sun-Dried Tomatoes, bread sticks, salad

    Friday: eat out after the game

    Saturday: Game Day Tailgate-Meaty Queso Dip and chips and other stuff

    Sunday: Roast Beef, Baked Noodles Casserole, green beans, salad, Classic Apple Pie

    Breakfast: Baked Eggs, Gingerbread Muffins

    Tues – Beef Fajitas, Rice & Beans
    Wed – Sloppy Joes, French Fries, Fruit Salad
    Thurs – Grilled Steak, Corn on the Cob, Salad
    Fri – Italian Turkey Meatloaf, Mashed Red Potatoes, Veggie
    Sat – Roast Chicken & Vegetables
    Sun – Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Carrots

    Tues: Braised Lamb and Artichoke Hearts with Roasted Potato slices with Smoked Paprika

    Thurs: Gemelli pasta with prosciutto, peas and cream

    Fri: Leftovers

    Sat: Grilled salmon sandwiches (if I can set up my new grill in time)
